Ordering the shuttle on arrival at Federal Circle was the first problem. The courtesy phones weren’t working and I couldn’t get a phone signal. When I did finally manage to contact them using a digital phone service the driver who picked me up was very helpful. The door to my room didn’t work with my key card so one of the staff had to let me in again if I left the room. There isn’t a lot to choose from for food in the area. It can be quite noisy with people coming and going all through the night and being next to the main road. It is a handy and reasonably priced hotel for an overnight layover though and the staff are friendly.

The Shuttle had broken side glass. The driver door was about to fall off. The check in was a small desk and you had to walk down stairs which brought you to the eating area. The complimentary breakfast is a joke. You have a choice of cereal, bread, pancakes or yogurt. You have a choice or coffee or tea. The bedroom is normal. The room that was given to me had no vents on the HVAC, it was just completely open so you couldn't direct the airflow. The TV also had very limited channels that worked. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

My daughter stayed here due to the close proximity to JFK + the free 24 hour airport shuttle. When she arrived at JFK, she tried numerous times contact the hotel(with the number provided) to order the shuttle. No luck. She waited by the shuttle area hoping it would arrive. No luck. A Marriott shuttle driver noticed her waiting and drove her and wouldn't even accept a tip. The 24 hr shuttle is misleading. It leaves every hour on the hour - not when needed so my daughter took an Lyft back to the airport. Lastly, she asked the front desk if they could mail a letter for her(it had a stamp on it). She was told they couldn't do that. ?????

The shuttle service is what killed it. I landed at JFK at midnight. The instructions from the hotel were to take Air Train and go to Federal Circle and call from three available courtesy phones for the shuttle. There are no phones. Calling from my cell phone did not go through for the provided number. The hotel direct number took me around in circles and I was unable to speak with anyone. I then chatted with live chat Expedia, no help there as well, as they were also unable to get through the hotel. Took Air Train back to terminal and got a cab to the hotel and checked in around 2 AM. The receptionist said that a shuttle had just gone to the airport and returned! How was I to know when the phones don't work?? I learned the next day that in such situations, the shuttle is supposed to wait at Federal Circle till phone service is restored. But the hotel did not do so. The room was clean. The AC was noisy. The in-room hotel phone did not work. The morning receptionist was defensive when I narrated the shuttle incident and the lack of phone service. This hotel needs some serious re-vamping of management.

Taking luggage to the room was a chore with a step down to another floor or through a dumb waiter whose entry was obstructed by a trolley. Noises from outside the room were heard loudly. No bottled water was offered. Breakfast had very few items which were running out- no eggs, limited juice quantity/ yogurt. No oatmeal either.

When I checked in I had to take a handicap lift to the bottom floor. There was an elevator but it didn’t go down. Breakfast was subpar. I only had a coffee because was uncomfortable eating other items. I will be back in 6/6 on my way home. I hope that I will be able to enjoy my stay then

All good. For the shuttle, one need to call from his own phone to the hotel once arrive at the airport. The free phones at the pick up place do not work...it created some inconvenience to us. But it's great to have a shuttle service.

Great stay, free shuttle , clean rooms. Walls a bit thin and you could hear the road loudly at night so just bear that in mind. For the price we were happy.

Rooms and bathroom were clean. Mattresses need to be replaced they are uncomfortable. Receptionist are blunt and rude to some people and fake nice to others. Not flexible at all. Shuttle driver didn’t want to take a few costumers to the air-train station and told us that it wasn’t running. When it was. The least they can do is to be polite and respectful to their costumers. They all need to work on costumer service.

I booked this hotel thru Expedia. I booked 3 nights 5/18-5/21. However when I arrived this hotel the lady in front nothing helped me. I just wanna stayed 1 night. And wanna refund 2 other nights. She said call Expedia and they will give you refund. I called Expedia the front desk can adjust in front of me. She didn't do it for me cause don't need to adjust If i leave even if I don't stay. They get my money for nothing to do. This place staffs working terribly. I don't trust this place. I bought warer paid cash $5. The guy front asked what is my room number? I answered my room number they charged again to my room. This place terrible.

The night I stayed there, my flight was delayed. They picked me up at the airport at 2:00 AM—super fast. When I arrived, since they knew my flight had been delayed, they handed me the key immediately. At 6:00 AM, they took me back to the airport. This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and honestly, I will definitely continue to do so. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have everything you need to spend a night while waiting for a connecting flight with a long layover. The shuttle driver at 6:00 AM explained how to get to the terminal, and both of the staff members I interacted with were very pleasant.
