Very clean, staff wonderful and very responsive. Very limited, truly Continental breakfast, in a very unappealing dining area. The room is very small and the bed takes up most of the space. I had to call maintenance three times because the safe kept not working. While this location is very convenient and the hotel has many plusses I will switch to a larger name brand in future because there is more consistency of quality. For example, no ironing board and iron, only a little hand steamer that doesn't do the job. The room is just way too small.

First time at Pestana but not the last one. My new favorite in New York. Very reasonable price. Room was neat, bed was comfortable. Surprisingly the room and bathroom were very spacious. My room was on a higher floor. Times Square is literally around the corner. Easy to reach transportation or to get a Lyft/Uber. Hotel staff very nice, they acknowledged me every time. Kudos to Victor, his friendliness at check-in made everything smooth.

Staff was very accommodating and straight to the point. His name is Victor G, friendly and answered any questions we had. He made sure to let us know payments, held our bags, and hours of operation for the hotel. The room and bathroom was clean especially since it looks exactly like the photos displayed.

Very pleasant stay. Staff was friendly. Room was clean although kind of small. Outside noise was evident in a street-facing room. Hotel was in a central location and steps away from many attractions.

Basic for price paid.

This hotel was more basic than expected for the price. The bed was comfortable but the room and bathroom were small. I was alone but two people would be one too many! The hotel is more like a posh hostel with rooms, lobby seating area with water and coffee but nothing else. Have stayed at other Pestana hotels which provided much better value. Therefore would not choose to stay again.

Perfect base to explore the city

Very good hotel, rooms arnt that small and nothing you wouldnt expect for a city hotel, rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great jobe everyday. Free coffee downstairs and free bagels at 0700 with pastries was much appreciated and helped us keep costs down a litttle as NY seems to be pretty expensive. Would highly recommend this hotel which is in a great loaction

Staff at front desk super friendly. So accommodating. We showed up way before check-in time and they found us a room and even upgraded us at no additional cost. Made our trip to NYC effortless. Although no full breakfast they put out bagels and coffee—enough to keep us until walking around NYC and found a great brunch.
