After i had booked, i received a warning from the hotel about late night noise from the bar below. What i didn't expect though was other guests running around shouting much of the night. The annex i was staying was unstaffed. Not a hotel to stay in if you want to get any sleep.

Nice stay for us but didn’t realize it’s right above a bunch of university bars! We laughed upon arrival the first night as there were probably 100 students drinking on the patio directly below the window. They close at around 11 and by 12 is perfectly quiet, so this wasn’t actually an issue for us, but if you’re travelling with children or sleep early, I’d maybe consider other lodging. Grocery store right across street and cafes/restaurants very close was nice!

The stay was incredible and I really appreciate how they were able to extend my stay last minute. The rooms were really clean and well designed and the cafe downstairs was great for snacks and breakfast. The location was also great, as it was only a few minutes walk to the train station and many local restaurants. The only thing I do not recommend here is the restaurant on the 2nd floor. It is extremely overpriced for breakfast and dinner options and the portion size and food quality was not worth the price. I recommend eating at other restaurants that are easily walkable and for breakfast just go to the cafe downstairs.

Great Find

Staff very friendly and helpful. When you first arrive you think it will be noisy, due to bars but by midnight it’s very quiet. Location very good.

Great location in Jesmond next to bars and restaurants. Easy access to West Jesmond Metro station and into Newcastle City Centre. Staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.
