I wish that I could rate 5 stars…

I would have provided full stars if the cleanliness didn’t let it down. On arrival, I went to run my child a bath and there was a pubic hair in the tub, so I checked the shower and a blatant pubic hair left on the cubicle floor, and finally there was what looked like a boot print on the base sheet on the bed. The staff were very quick to send someone to change the sheet. The customer service was second to none, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. It is a shame that those incidences occurred because beyond that my child and I enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel, nice and clean with very friendly staff, however if you're looking for a good nights sleep, don't expect this on a Saturday night as music was playing until at least 1am and the pillows are very uncomfy!

Awful breakfast experience

Room fine, though gaps around the door meant we heard a lot of noise from the corridor. We were offered breakfast at check on, with a £5 discount if we pre-booked compared to buying on the morning. So we took it. Big mistake. The queue for a table was right across the reception area. We waited 15 minutes, even though there were plenty of used tables - so presumably a lack of staff to clear them. The final insult, on reaching the front of the queue - the staff had no record that we'd pre-paid and had to head off to reception to check... Not a great start to the day and if we hadn't prepaid we'd have gone elsewhere.

Amazing as always!

Just amazing as always. Check in was so simple. The receptionist who checked me in was lovely and even when I requested a few things she done it no bother. Nothing was too much hassle for her. Used the spa the following day and the girls on the desk there were great as well. This is the 3rd time staying here and it has never let us down. We are already looking forward to our 4th stay.

Nice hotel with good facilities. Long wait for access to the the spa which was annoying and then very empty when we got there. Long wait for food in the restaurant too.

Good size room, lovely breakfast. A small moan, the pillows were lumpy. Very close to city and station so convienient for everything. A walk along the river is very close and absolutely worth it.
