Lovely Stay
Posted Sep. 9, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had 5 nights here, not long enough! Jean-Louis and Fabienne were very helpful and friendly. The house has a quirky layout, but was very clean and spacious. The outside is great with plenty of seating, the pool is refreshing after hot day and our son enjoyed playing the piano. There is noise from the motorway which was more noticeable in the mornings. The narrow, twisty roads are not for the fainthearted and the hire car was a little too big, but there is also a toll motorway if you want to get somewhere quickly rather than doing the scenic route. We enjoyed Menton, Eze, Monaco and Villefranche and went back to Nice to visit the Matisse museum. We would love to come back to the area, it's really beautiful.

We are happy that you enjoyed the house and its garden. The location is calm, in the hills, set back from the hustle and bustle of the city while still allowing access in 15 minutes via the Villefranche road to the beautiful beaches, coastal
villages, old Nice or Monaco. The distant presence more than five hundred meters from a highway causes only a slight murmur that is generally almost imperceptible from the house, while allowing, as you notice, easier travel for more distant excursions in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Excellent stay

Fantastic house, friendly hosts
Posted Aug. 2, 2021 on HomeAwayWe had a wonderful week at this beautiful house in La Trinité. Our kids thanked us several times for finding the best ever holiday home. They loved the annex with table football, a piano, and billiard table. The swimming pool was the perfect size for them and not to deep (1.1m). The garden is lovely and has a fence all around, which keeps the wild boars out (they did pass by every evening, which was a lovely sight) and the kids in! The beds are comfortable and the bedroom windows have good mosquito screens. Mr. and Mrs. Lemaire are welcoming and very responsive hosts. Spectacular beaches can be reached within a 20 minutes drive. The road to the house is a bit challenging, especially since we are Dutch and not used to passing cars on narrow mountain roads, but that's part of the experience. We definitely recommend this place!

A gem
Posted Jul. 1, 2021 on HomeAwayWe stayed for 10 nights and it was perfect. The house is completely secluded, no neighbours anywhere. It has great views of the mountains and a really tranquil atmosphere. The pool was enough for our kids and the foosball was fun for us. The piano was a nice touch - we played a lot. It's close to the beaches. The roads are narrow, but they're narrow anywhere in Cote dAzur. The hosts were great. Overall fantastic and would stay again.

Wonderful place for summer break
Posted Aug. 20, 2020 on HomeAwayWonderful house with a lot of character and offering all comfort. The yard is also very beautiful and we particularly enjoyed the pool. A car is indispensable but we took the advantage to visit the area (Nice, Monte-Carlo, Cannes are really close).
Thanks a lot to the owners for their hospitality. A really great place for a summer break.

Its location makes it easy to go both to the Italian border, Monaco and Menton, and to Antibes, Cannes and Estérel, not to mention the refreshing mountain resorts with Valberg, Turini, Isola 2000 or Auron.

The gardens are really pretty and very secluded, the views from each area are lovely. All the bedrooms are really nice and very authentic, the kitchen is very rustic too.

A secluded gem
Posted Sep. 13, 2018 on HomeAwayBeautiful house, well furnished and very comfy. Kitchen well supplied with everything we could possible need. Lovely grounds with a small pool which my granddaughters thoroughly enjoyed. We also enjoyed the games room. There was a shopping centre in La Trinite but we found the little market just a few yards up from the house very useful for fresh fruit and veg etc. The house was well placed for everything we wished to see, including Sanremo, Monaco, Eze and Falicon, as well as some amazing beaches. Slight downside was there was no WiFi which could possibly put some people off. Also a DVD player would be useful, particularly for playing children’s and/or family films in the evening. However, we really loved our stay in this beautiful house, thank you Fabienne.
