river view and near proximity to walking across the river for more dining options. parking should be made free instead of paying

Top class hotel

Comfortable and quiet hotel with super delicious breakfast. Friendly staffs are well organized always ready to serve the customers. My room was spacious with a beautiful river view. The Hotel was conveniently located with almost everything within the walking distance. I will certainly come back when I revisit Niigata.

Overall not bad. Felt slightly older. Could hear some stomping from room above, but minimal. Biggest issue that I am docking a star for is ac did not seem to work. Set to 15c cool, but room stayed at a constant 24c which was too hot for me. I reported, but was only offered the suggestion to turn off the ac (this did not work). Location was fine and short cab ride to different spots if needed. Staff was overall very pleasant and friendly.

Hotel looks like it was built in the 1980’s but the management keeps it well for the age. Location is good not far from the train station where everything happens. Good place to stay in.

Fairly standard hotel, but clean and comfortable! Easy to walk to lots of attractions nearby.

Was a great hotel before the pandemic

I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past before the pandemic. Each times, I have stayed for at least several days at a time and never really had any issues with this hotel. This time, most of the usual employees that worked here are gone and I feel like they are operating with skeleton crew. There was no issue with the service and all, but I felt like this time the room had less amenities than before. It's still a good hotel, but sadly I think their glory was a thing in the past.
