The Heritage Grand Khon Kaen Hotel
"We’ve stayed at this property several times and now it’s changed hands from the Pullman to the Heritage from North American standards it’s a higher end hotel and it’s very convenient to shopping and the train station. We’ve been coming to this hotel since 2010 over the 16 years I think we stayed in the same room at least three times they are doing renovations and hopefully they will be improving the rooms as time goes by the room we were in electrical lights did not work and the headboard was in need of maintenance looked kind of scrubby. The bathroom showerhead looked old looked dirty and probably should’ve been replaced. I think the same heads have been in there since 2010 Overall this hotel has been a good location comfortable place to stay for 16 years often you can have breakfast included with the cost of your room. We often do that as I am a particular on eating my spouse is Thai and I am North American. They do a nice breakfast for both North American and Thai folks alike. You have a pool on the fourth floor, which is a beautiful pool however the pool is very ice. Cold in hot hot weather. It’s wonderful the swim in we were there in July during the rainy season and it wasn’t so pleasant to swim. The pool is clean and the facilities are wonderful. As mentioned train station is close. The large mall is close and the night market is a 5 to 10 minute walk away. I would recommend this property."

"This was my first time staying at this hotel. From check-in to being escorted to the room, all the staff were excellent and very attentive. However, the next day when housekeeping came, I encountered the rudest housekeeper I have ever met. I greeted her with a smile and said “sawadee,” but she didn’t respond at all. She looked at me in a condescending way, spoke to me in a very unpleasant tone, and didn’t smile. I felt really upset because I have never experienced such poor manners from a housekeeper before. I hope the hotel will take this into consideration."
