Relax and enjoy the panoramic waterfront views of the Miakahatchi river waterway from our deck or inground pool off a Tip lot - Fish right off the dock. Beautiful furnished vacation home on a quiet cul de sac with fenced yard. Short drive to several local beaches. Parents please use caution with canal and pool.
Waterfront home on a Tip lot - one bridge to the ocean with pool located on a quiet cul de sac. Fully furnished tile throughout with fire stick, Internet and wifi, fenced yard , deck . Living room overlooking deck and canal , sitting room overlooking the water, kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave , dishwasher - 2 full bathrooms , 3 queen sized bed bedrooms, 2 large living rooms , laundry room, in ground pool, 4 swimmies in garage, and bikes (4) adult, fishing poles, beach umbrellas, towel, cooler, beach blanket and a gas grill - propane is on the honor system - if there is some then use it if not then please replace - the shell station at the corner of north port Blvd and US -41 is 3 minutes away - refill for 20.00 - please no swimming in canal there are alligators in the canal - it's Florida. there is soap, toilet paper, and coffee provided enough for a few days until the guest can get to the store - public grocery store is 10 min away in cocoa plum plaza. 3 miles to warm miner springs, 45 minutes Jungle Gardens Sarasota, 75 minutes to Bush Gardens Tampa, 2.5 hours to Disney and 1 hour to Key West express out of fort Myers to the Keys

Quiet paradise

My husband, sister and boyfriend stayed the week here. We loved it. The house was beautiful and comfortable at the end of a cul-de-sac. We were close to all shopping (Bealls, Old Navy, TJ Maxx, Chico's Outlet, Ross Dress for Less, Walmart, etc). and about 1/2 hour from ocean beaches (Venice & Englewood). We loved sitting by the pool and having the canal out back. We saw a lot of splashing in the canal and my sister's boyfriend even tried some fishing. The house was spacious and plenty of room to spread out if needed. It has a unenclosed deck almost the length of the house if you want direct sunshine with plenty of furniture for all. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend. Maybe not for children as if they are out in the yard they could fall into the canal which supposedly has gators.

THE PLACE WAS READY AND SMELT SO NICE AND CLEAN.... EVERYTHNG WAS SPARKLING... THE HOUS EIS COMFY AND ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME.... LOVEDTHE KITCHEN HAS EVERYTHING ONE WPUL DWANT..I LIKE OT BAKE AND COOK AND EVERYTHING IS THERE...... BEDS WERE COMFY TVS ALLWORKED GREAT.... 3 OF THEM..!!! THYE YARD IS GREAT SITTING ON THE DECK RIGHT BESIDE THE CANAL WAS SO RESTFUL.... ALL THE BIRDS WE HAD AND SQUIRRLES AND BUNNIES AND WE SAW THE ALIGATOR WEEKLY IN THE CANAL AND EVEN THE MANATTES AND HER BABY SEVERAL TIMES.... POOL IS NOT HEATED ...USED IT ANYWAYS.. THE STAFF WAS GREAT... GARDENER WAS SO GOOD..... POOLS BOYS WERE RIGHT ON TIME WEEKLY.... CLEANING STAFF WAS GREAT ... REALLY ENJOYE DOU T TWO MONTHS THERE.. MY DAUGHTER AND FAMILY CAME (4) AND LOT SOF ROOM.... NEIGHBOURS WERE VERY NICE..... KATHRINE WAS SPOT ON !!! ANY LITTLE ISSUE SHE WAS ON IT...... Beautiful house. Love that there's a dock in the back yard to fish from. Bed was very comfortable.

1st time ever using VRBO but was very friendly to use. Owner answered my questions very quickly. Caught a few fish every night and then the last night we got to see a gator.

Perfect Home by the Water

Home is perfect for relaxing in the pool, and enjoying views of the waterway at the same time. The outdoor space is beautiful! Large deck out back for sunbathing. The inside of the home is great too. Very comfortable furniture. We loved all of the windows in the living room that looked out on the water. We had thunderstorms every afternoon, and they were spectacular to watch over the water. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, and there are plenty of towels and beach towels. Master bdrm has a cool step down shower. Loved it! Really appreciated the nice tile floors too, so much better than carpet. We would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Water front with a pool was our main draw. The house is centrally located to everything we could need. We spent most of our trip hanging by the pool. The house it self was roomy and comfortable with ceiling fans in every room. The house had all the essentials like towels, pots and pans. And some extras like olive oil, salt and pepper. The beach and pool supplies saved the day since somehow we managed to forget my little guy's puddle jumper and there were 3 to choose from. The view was beautiful. We saw a lot of different kinds or birds and lizards, including some of the smallest baby frog any of us had ever seen. My youngest was highly disappointed in not seeing an alligator. LOL! Only 2 Tvs in the house, but they both had firesticks. Overall an excellent trip.

Pretty good

House could use updates & rugs would be great- 1st day we had dirty feet. Host definitely keeps in touch. The pool was awesome but needs light replaced. You're not allowed to swim after 10pm... The neighbors who are all elderly will complain! They do have a lot of amenities available at the house like in her description which was very thoughtful. The canal and sunsets were great and we even saw a 10 ft gator as well as a 7 footer, turtle, Pinky, and Charlie. Many wonderful memories made!

Great clean house with a nice pool and view

We really enjoyed the house as it was nice and clean and comfortable. Our only recommendation would be to change the boards on the dock and deck, and to put up a taller fence between the house next-door and the pool. It would be nice to have a little bit more privacy. But the view of the canal especially at sunset is so great! Catherine was really easy to communicate with and always got back in a very timely manner.

Very relaxing quiet getaway

Beautiful location! Communication with Katherine was prompt. Lovely home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only downside - dock boards need to be replaced (unsafe). All in all, it was a wonderful property.

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our second time to stay in this lovely home and, once again, it did not disappoint! Our family of four and our four-legged pup had a fantastic vacation. From the hours in the pool to the well-stocked kitchen making meal prep easy, to the fun time fishing, the beautiful views, and all the wildlife (gators in the canal each evening and birds galore) - we had a BLAST! After two summers in a row of the absolute best, most peaceful and enjoyable vacations in this home, we are sure to make it an annual trip from here on out!

Loved all the birds

We loved staying here and would definitely come back. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the canal and watching all the birds. We saw Wood Storks, Great White Egrets, Yellow Crowned Night Herons and many more. A real highlight. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. House on canal in North Port

We loved this house in North Port. The house was spacious and clean and we loved the canal! We saw alligators and Manatees. We had an Egret visit everyday and would come right up to us. The area was very convenient to everything. Sores, beaches, and activities. Will definitely be back.

Amazing property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The waterway behind the house is so relaxing. We saw many alligators, a manatee, turtles, and a beautiful array of birds. The lizards and house geckos were also a bonus. We love animals! The house itself is beautifully decorated. The pool was wonderful. My kids loved it. There are so many stores and restaurants located in the area, which is very convenient. This property is a gem!

Low-key vacation in the PERFECT home away from home

We had the BEST time at this charming and spacious home. It is located in a quintessential, old-school Florida residential neighborhood and was perfect for our shelter-in-a-different-place vacation during this time of Covid. It's an older but well maintained home with plenty of space to spread out. The entire house is tile flooring and each of the 3 bedrooms has a full sized bed. The guest bathroom has a tub and the master has a walk down into shower (literally down a couple steps). All of the family and living room furniture is very comfortable. The family room TV is huge and is a smart TV so it made watching netflix each morning for our 5 yo quite easy. Lol! The pool is about 3.5 deep at the shallowest and 6.5 feet deep at its deepest and was great for our family of 4. The enclosure opens up to the deck which is huge and a fun spot to sit in the morning or in the evening where you have a great view of the sunset. There is also a door that leads you down some stairs to the dock over the canal. We had a great time fishing from there with the equipment available in the garage. We saw a gator in the canal and the same egret visited everyday! The backyard is fenced in (except along the canal) making it even easier to bring your pet and our dog really enjoyed chasing the lizards. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were all on the newer side and very nice. The wifi was more than sufficient for the 3 cellphones and 2 tablets we had. As far a vacationing during covid - there were lots of door dash meal options as well as takeout from nearby restaurants. The owner even provided disposable face masks and hand sanitizer, which was a really thoughtful bonus. It was truly the perfect pandemic getaway for our family. We cannot wait to rent this property again! <3
