The location was excellent with great river views and access ,the house was warm and pleasant

The upstairs was fine with a modern bathroom accept the carpets were old, dirty and had a couple of holes in them - this is a shame .

Upstairs carpets to stairs and bedrooms have just been replaced for 2024 season.

Unique location
Posted Jun. 25, 2022 on HomeAwayOverall we had a very enjoyable holiday in a great location ideal for a fishing holiday but also for enjoying the river and amenities of Wroxham. Although the cottage has some new additions such as an awning over the patio, much of it is rather tired and in need of refurbishing having for example mismatched furniture, hole in landing carpet , broken bin in kitchen but nevertheless, comfortable bed, plenty of white fluffy towels and plentiful hot water. Not luxury but worth the 4 star rating.

Chilled out stay

Great Location to explore the Broads

Thank you for your comments which we appreciate. We are planning on redecorating interior of this cottage throughout in the low season (if it ever comes) in time for the new season in 2021. Outside furniture is only one year old.

Fantastic location
Posted Nov. 15, 2019 on HomeAwayFantastic location right in the center of Wroxham close too the shops pub and restaurants. The cottage had everything we needed . Great fishing on the doorstep . The only slight criticism s I could make would be the lack of a proper shower and poor WiFi .
But overall it was a very enjoyable stay would recommend this cottage .

Hi Paul, Thanks for your review. We quite agree with you, which is why we are currently refurbishing the bathroom to have a full walk-in shower cubicle. Unfortunately the WiFi is not under our control as it is shared by all of the Peninsula Cottages and the quality can vary.

Fabulous situation in Wroxham
Posted Nov. 7, 2019 on HomeAwayThe situation is excellent - could fish from the armchair - BUT don't !! Everything available that could be reasonably expected. Carpets a little tired and the 2 single beds are reported as uncomfortable (by adults). I wished there was a proper shower rather than a bath...…..but these are mini criticisms as my holiday was excellent. Would certainly revisit and the host is very available to immediately answer any questions.

Thank you for your review. Having just had a new state-of-the-art cooker installed recently, we are now planning to completely refurbish the bathroom this Autumn to remove the bath and install walk-in shower.

relaxing holiday
Posted Sep. 30, 2019 on HomeAwayproperty is located in an excellent area if you like chilling out and watching river life going on, or enjoy fishing, reading 10 minute walk to town or if you fancy a drink the Shed is nearby with friendly staff, we met some lovely friendly people from neighboring cottages which is a nice way to meet people, highly recommended.
