An amazing restaurant with a very good hotel.

Service excellent, hotel facilities fine. Pool and gym a bit small by the highest standards, and apartment WiFi a bit glitchy. These are small things.
The restaurant was the standout: not cheap but some of the best fish I have eaten in a long time, served with enthusiasm and knowledge. Even if you don’t stay, drive some distance to eat here, I’d say.

Very nice resort hotel off the beaten track
Posted Jan. 31, 2024 on HotelsWe stayed two nights in this hotel. We found it very challenging to find this hotel, despite GPS. Depending on the system you are using, you may search for Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Hotel (or Elutee Hotel on Waze), and the road is quite winding. I would definitely recommend to do this journey during daylight hours and not in the dark. The location is far away fro everything. There are no dining options, other than in the hotel and no shopping anywhere nearby.
The resort is new, modern and sprawling with a beautiful outdoor and indoor pool and exercise facilities. Staff is courteous and kind. The decor is modern, artsy but not cozy. Rooms are spacious, clean and the bathrooms beautiful. The red was very comfortable. It was only a short walk from our unit to the main building and parking area. Breakfast was very good and plentiful and you could order a la carte. We would stay here again.

It must be something about Portugal it the hot water was not on and there were ants.
The spa did not answer when we tried to book a massage. Could be low season.
The property and golf course are amazing. The best was the dinner absolutely delicious !

Loved this place, so quiet and away from the crowds. The included breakfast was wonderful too. Easy parking. Played 9 holes of golf but to rent carts and clubs it was overpriced for the value but views were beautiful. Friendly, accommodating staff. Wasn’t able to eat dinners as it was always booked for a private party.
