Cozy Cabin by the Lake - Salt Springs Resort

Pristine, upscale 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage on Little Lake Kerr. Are you weary and just need some peace and quiet or are you just dying to burn some energy? Or, do you still need to work remotely but want to change up the scenery? Then this is the place for you!
Our cozy cottage is located in the heart of the Ocala National Forrest within a gated resort community. Come relax and enjoy serenity in this very special place that's loaded with old oak trees, Spanish moss and lots of wildlife. Our cottage has two really comfortable beds, a pretty décor, cable TV and strong Wi-fi! The eat-in kitchen is equipped for cooking and has plenty of seating. Like to read, have a glass of wine and watch the sunset? Perfect as we have a screened porch for you. Like cooking on the grill? Perfect - we've got a grill and picnic table for you. The Sandy shoreline is great for swimming, fishing or just hanging out on a pool float. If you've got a boat, bring it - boat launch available! We even have a pool table and and ping-pong inside the lodge across the street.
If you've never been to the Ocala National Forrest, you have to come! This area is fantastic for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts as there are tons of trails and natural springs! Activities include hiking, motorbiking/four-wheeling, boating, kayaking, biking and an outdoor gun range. Come enjoy the beauty of the forest and swim in the crystal waters of many nearby National Spring Parks. Resort amenities include pickle ball, basketball and tennis courts, heated outdoor pool, and shuffleboard. Walking distance to two restaurants and a bar! (ie a pizza place and a downhome cooking place!) Dollar General and small grocery store nearby!

Nice lake vacation

The cabin is nice and cozy with AC and internet. Our host Mary is very nice and accommodating. We have been going to Elite of Salt Springs for about 20 years and always enjoy relaxing at the resort. It’s a nice easygoing vacation.

What a great getaway for the family!! I would highly recommend booking this cottage!!Plenty of room for us and our family, loved cooking on the gas stove and grill, relaxing on the porch and at the picnic table, walking around the resort was peaceful and quiet!!We will book this cottage again!!

The house two bedroom kitchen porch was amazing. Amenities were excellent as described. Location close to everything. Excellent time with friends and family. Leek side events were a blast. Unfortunately, the property is for sale. Hope it doesn’t sell anytime soon because I wanna come back to Stay again ha ha.

Property was just as described, cozy cabin with plenty of room for four adults. Being so near off the 19 made for a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience for exploring nearby Florida treasures. Having an absolutely delightful host enhanced an amazing weekend getaway.

Great weekend getaway

Lakes, springs and forests - all of the outdoors boxes are ticked and the location within the Salt Springs Resort is an easy stroll to Little Lake Kerr. We traveled with two young children and everyone had a great time. We'll be back!

Mary’s cozy cabin exceeded my expectations! Great location and nicely decorated. The entire cabin was well stocked from kitchen/cookware to towels/ linens! Would highly recommend staying here. Mary was very helpful and responsive.

Nice, quiet and cute. We took in the sites, fished and relaxed in the spa! Get to be with nature but still have modern conveniences.
