Relaxing getaway
Posted Feb. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was our second time staying at this property. Great location, very close to beach and Damon Point. Quiet neighborhood. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. If you stand outside on the deck at dusk, you'll likely hear a great horned owl calling. Also, lots of wildlife around the canal. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect!
Posted Jan. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayThe home was clean, well stocked, and is an amazing location. Sitting at the water’s edge I watched ducks, birds fly by, and a few otters swimming by. The owner replied quickly and friendly to any questions. A perfect OS home.

Lovely Waterfront Cabin
Posted Jan. 25, 2024 on HomeAwayThe home looked exactly like the photos and was more than enough room for the two of us. We enjoyed watching the sunset, the ducks swimming in the canal, and more than anything the many deer visits made for a magical stay. We don’t see much of that back home in Hawai’i! The place was immaculate and the board game collection was a pleasant surprise. The home was also a very short drive from all the restaurants and such in town. Lovely place overall.

Slightly over-rated based 4.9 stars
Posted Jan. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayA comfortable place to stay compared to a hotel if you have a dog. A very nice vantage overlooking the canal and a short distance to Point Brown beach. One bathroom is fine as long as you don't have more than 2 people. The beds were clean & comfortable. The furniture is lower quality & there are quite a few items in/around the home that are on the verge of breaking. No problem what-so-ever with the owner & the book they put together is very helpful. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for a few days, but this is definitely not for the most discriminating/high-end clients.
I would rate the location on the canal @ 4.9 but the house is 2.9 so combined, I think 3.9 is a more reasonable rating.

Cozy beach house
Posted Dec. 31, 2023 on HomeAwayClose to oyhut which had great shops and yummy food. Beds were not the comfiest but overall property was exactly what was portrayed. Super quiet and cozy. Lovely kitchen.
