Welcome to Mermaid Dreams, a beautiful and modern coastal vacation home nestled in the heart of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. This meticulously maintained property offers a convenient retreat, ideally situated for exploring all the Mississippi Gulf Coast has to offer.

THE HOUSE AND BEDROOMS
Our guests routinely comment on the cleanliness of this home. It has an open living area with large rooms perfect for relaxing and entertaining. Three nicely appointed bedrooms. The primary suite has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a third bedroom featuring a full-size bed and a twin trundle. Each bedroom includes a Smart TV with access to Amazon Prime. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. There are a total of 2 œ bathrooms.

PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL
Enjoy the luxury of your very own private, in-ground swimming pool, securely enclosed within a six-foot privacy fence. A dedicated morning room with an adjacent restroom overlooks the pool, providing a tranquil space for relaxation and games. For families with young children, a pack-and-play and high chair are provided. Pool towels and floats are also available for your use.

Get ready for an adventure! Your private golf cart is on site and ready for you to explore. It isn’t just transportation it is your passport to discovering Ocean Springs’ picturesque streets, coastline, and local gems that are often missed while riding in your car. This vacation home is owned by Rhonda Iris, an award-winning local artist. As you will see her original coastal-themed artwork is showcased throughout. You can purchase any of this art to take home and have a lasting memento of your vacation.

We had a fabulous time. Conveniently located on a quiet road. Walking distance to everything if you want to but the golf cart made it easier. Rhonda gave clear instructions and everything was as advertised. I would highly recommend this property to everyone.

Our stay in Mermaid Dreams was absolutely perfect. The home is so well appointed. We met our college kiddos in town for Thanksgiving and we had everything we needed to make dinners and spend lot's of quality time together. Our kids enjoyed there being a tv in every room. We enjoyed the 4 season room and beautiful pool deck. We didn't get to swim since it was November but the pool looked very inviting. The property is in walking distance of the ocean and great restaurants and shops in the golf cart district. Mermaid dreams was clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is pretty quiet minus a barking dog early in the morning and train horns in a distance. I recommend bringing a power strip or two if your family has lot's of devices like ours to charge up.

This house was just as advertised! Great location to shops, restaurants and beach. Host was always quick to respond to my inquiries, and he communicated great with me regarding check in and check out info. House was very clean! We did not use the pool, but it looked very inviting. The porch area is where we spent most of our time for our girls' trip! We are hoping to be back soon.

Everything was perfect for our stay. The amenities were all well stocked, the pool was clean (a bit chilly, but understandable given the time of year!) and we had plenty of space to relax and socialize or to even just take a nap or some time to ourselves. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and easy to find. We did not rent the golf cart, but if we had, it would have been great to take to downtown Ocean Springs. We would definitely recommend this property to there visitors to Ocean Springs. It has everything you need for a great stay, the host was amazing to work with and the paintings inside- beautiful!

We were attending a concert at The Sound Amphitheater and stayed the weekend. The property is conveniently located to the beach and downtown Ocean Springs. The property was very clean and the backyard/pool area was large and very spacious. I would absolutely stay here again!

5 Star Stay

As a local, I can confidently say this home is in a good neighborhood—safe, quiet, and just a 5-minute golf cart ride to both Government Street and East Beach. We felt incredibly comfortable and secure throughout our stay.The house was spotless—amazingly clean for a pet-friendly place (you’d never know pets are allowed). Everything was thoughtfully arranged, from perfectly placed decor to plenty of towels. The A/C kept us cool even during a record-breaking heat wave, and the water pressure in the master bath is next-level strong!The pool was a huge bonus and ideally gets some shade by around 3pm, making it perfect for summer afternoons. There's plenty of space to spread out and relax.Communication with the host was easy and seamless—they truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit our family in the area!

This was a pleasant house with a beautiful pool. It was a bit pricey because of the pool, so if you do not plan to use it, you can find more affordable places.

Overall solid stay. Pool pump was off when i arrived so it was a little dirty, there was a bowl of takeout food in the microwave, the wifi was touchy, and smelled a little musty. All that to say that we are usually not booking last minute and for the price it was well worth it.

Great property close to everything

Our boys loved having the pool to play in after a long day out. The location was close to everything with easy access to 90. The neighbors have dogs which bark quite a bit even during quiet hours so be aware of that. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.
