Ok but probably would'nt stay again.....

Overall, it was "ok". The room was nice and it was clean. The bedroom had a large bed but the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The pull-out sofa in the living room was not the one in the pictures online. It was old, mattress was not nice and was very hard and uncomfortable for our kids. Several nights they slept on cushions on the floor instead, even though the cushions had rips down the seams. It was nice to have a kitchenette although only 1 person could be in it at the time due to the size. We did have hot water and air conditioning, which was a plus! The pool was VERY disappointing. The water was cloudy and the life guard was NOT nice. Our first day he yelled at our son about everything and when my husband confronted him, he got in his face and was yelling at us. I thought he was going to punch him! We ended up not going back to the pool. We called the owner of the room and complained and wanted to get a refund and stay somewhere else but we were told it was non-refundable and basically we were out of luck. I do have to say that the housekeeper for our room, Miss Beverly, was wonderful! She tried to make up for the problems we had by making us a nice fruit basket and she checked on us every few days and cleaned our room and brought fresh linens.

We are truly happy that you found our condo to be very clean, with amenities, and services like king size bed, sleeper sofa, air conditioning, hot water, fully equipped kitchen, fresh linen and excellent housekeeping services. We are truly sorry about any discomfort you may have experienced with any sleeping arrangements; it is unfortunate, that neither you nor your husband had brought this to our attention , on any of the occasions we interacted with you or serviced the condo. On the contrary when we inquired about your comfort, or needs in the condo, you consistently informed us that everything was good with the condo. Had you brought this to our attention we certainly would have done everything to remedy any issues you may have had. We pride ourselves in making our guests feel very comfortable and take actions to achieve this. We have never had these complaints before and will seek to investigate and take action accordingly. Further to our conversation with your husband and our email on Jan 24, 2020, we once again apologize for any negative experience you may have encountered at the pool. As we have indicated, the safety and security of our guests are our top priority, consequently, we could NOT facilitate your child diving or performing other stunts in the pool, to the detriment of himself and other guests. We are truly sorry your husband was offended about this and sought to “Confront” the pool attendant. We must abide by safety and health guidelines and regulations and must operate within guidelines given by our insurers, to minimise risks or injury to anyone. Our pool rules are established accordingly, and we expect that our guests comply. Our pool was recently renovated, inspected and public health certification obtained, we will investigate any complaint you may have about the condition of the water, we are so sorry you had not brought this to our attention while your family was using the facility, so that we could have had the water quality checked then. We did advise your husband when he requested a refund, that you had booked a non - refundable room, which he said was “Great” and, we could not refund him on the basis that he did not wish to comply with the safety and health regulations relating to the use of the pool. We are truly happy you appreciated the fruit basket we gave you; we hope you enjoyed our tropical delights; we go the extra mile in making our guests feel welcome, and at home. i love everything about they Property and Apartment i will sure be staying there on my next visit to Ocho Rios
