This new four season and beautiful Adirondack cabin is the perfect place for a family vacation - extended or with friends. The 4 bed rooms are furnished with 2 queen size log beds, 1 king and 4 log bunk beds, accommodating up-to 10 guests. With 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath on each floor, you will have convenience and comfort. The interior is warm and inviting, just right for fun, laughter, and relaxing times together. Classic knotty pine walls, ceilings and hand hewn log railings provide the backdrop for rustic furnishings creating Adirondack charm and coziness in every room.
The fully-outfitted kitchen is perfectly suited for preparing and serving group meals and opens to a great room with a log dinning room table, chairs and bench to gather around for meals.
A ledge stone gas fireplace centers the great room providing glowing warmth and charm to the living and dining areas. The beauty inside is matched outside by wooded landscaped terraces and deck complete with grilling area for family barbeques. The fire pit and play area will create your own special vacation memories at Pawnee Pines.
A short drive to the semi-private beach features a spacious sandy beach, perfect for wading and swimming. The quaint Town of Old forge is minutes away. If your looking to Snowmobile, we are down the road from Trail 4! You can ride to town, the gas pumps and access the inner trail system.
At day’s end, sing songs and toast s’mores around the campfire. When it’s time to come in, gather around the fireplace to play board games, cards or watch a large-screen TV with cable to view your favorite movies and programs. For others it may be searching the web on a high-speed Wi-Fi Internet connection or retiring to one of the bedrooms all equipped with flat screen HD TV’s.

Host response to text messages wasn’t prompt or at all to our questions/concerns. The temperature was 58 degrees at arrival and took almost 3 hours to reach 68-70. The water was brown upon arrival and the water was run for a bit until clear. Some of the beds didn’t have a comforter/bedspread and 1 bed didn’t have a pillowcase. Several of the TV remotes were not working properly need batteries. There was NOT a snow shovel to clear snow from walkway/steps. The sofas felt like they were broken because you sink way down and it was somewhat difficult to get off them.

Loved this cabin! Perfect size for my multigenerational family. We appreciated the first floor bedrooms and bathroom. My kids loved the spacious bunk room. Perfect location! Excellent communication and very clean.

We loved the property. We had difficulty locating with the directions we were provided. After reaching out to the property contact, we were able to locate. There were a few items that were not available upon arrival that were in the listing. Overall it was a great place to stay and close to town. We would rent again.

Great company but cottage experience could be better...

After over 6 hours to get to cabin, we arrived to icey steps. We carefully brought our things in and as soon as we entered, the smoke alarm was beeping. I alerted the person who i was told to text along with questions on how to turn tv on as there were 3 remotes.Not fast on resonding and we figured out the tv and took battery out of detector.Both downstairs bedrooms lack appropriate lighting, bulbs out, dull bulbs, like a cave.The only coffee maker was Keurig but both types advertised. Could not find carafe for ground coffee.The cabin is nice, located close to town and the guys had fun snow mobiling. 250 was part of fee for clean up yet we had to strip beds and put in trash bags not provided.We had to take our garbage home or 25 fee, even if you left alittle in bathroom.A fee if you dont clean oven, stove, fridge and counters 25. Asked if we would sweep? I mean... really. It was clean but lacking care.No menus for town restaurants or info of any kindNo trash bagsNo salt for walkway No tv remote instructions Couch cushions are sinking in.Extremely bad lighting in both downstairs bedrooms.A beautiful spot and cabin but appears to need someone who cares more. We enjoyed each others company, so it made it worthwhile. All I can say, is do better! People appreciate the little things. They go a long way..

Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go.

We enjoyed our stay here. A full set of towels for each person would’ve been appreciated. A full set to me is bath, hand and wash cloth. Otherwise great house and perfect location.

Pawnee pines

Nice place, had a good time, one drawback is it is right on rt 28 so there is the traffic noise at night when having a fire. We were told to put the linens and towels in separate bags after our stay but there were no big bags, only the small kitchen garbage ones. Also no outside garbage unit so we had to keep the tied up garbage bags in the house and they started to smell. Then we had to take them to the transfer station, no biggie as we have done this before many times however this time we needed a permit or bag tags which are purchased at the information center for 2$ apiece, to place on the bags or they won’t take them, we found this out when we got there, then had to go back into town to get the tags, then go back, car stunk. Should have known about this ahead of time.

House is a 5 - Hosts are a 2.5

House was not ready for check-in. Microwave was broken. Walk to house was not shoveled or salted (Luckily we had a shovel with us and I went out and bought my own bag of rock salt). Barbeque unavailable due to being snowed in on deck (yes we would have grilled). Lake view suggested by photos is not present. The trash policy is bizarre and unacceptable. There is no situation where a host should demand a guest to take their garbage with them. Imagine if we had stayed longer than a few days - I'm supposed to fill my car with household garbage and trek it for hours and hundreds of miles home? The property itself however, is very nice. It was a frigid Adirondack weekend and the entire house was nothing less than warm and cozy. Hot water for the showers never seemed to run out. We (4 adults 4 kids) were all very comfortable and the bunk beds for the kids were a huge win. In terms of spaciousness, with a large group it's not a house you'd linger in for an entire day; instead it's where you come back to unwind after a long day out and about -- and that's all fine. Overall we had a really nice stay, and it's a shame to have to punctuate the review with negativity. But it is what it is.

Very nice place

My family came up to celebrate my brother’s birthday and also signed up for pink riders. Had a wonderful time the house is exactly like the picture. The only thing is we could have used a shovel. Would highly recommend.

Must take your trash with you.

Stayed in January with a group of guys for a snowmobiling trip. We flew into Syracuse and drove in. Nice home that sleeps 6 comfortably. Only troubles were nonexistent communication with manager, no paper towels and very few trash bags. We were also confused about the instructions stating “take trash with you” We were charged $25 per bag as it states even though the owner acknowledged it’s a horrible scenario and the local dump is closed on Sunday’s. So be prepared to just pay $25 per bag if you’re flying in as handling trash is the last thing you want to worry about.

Morris Family Vacation

The property was gorgeous and exceeded our expectation. Spacious enough for our family of 8. Pleasant visits by a couple of deer - very friendly. Very close to Water Safari and Calypso Park. We cooked delicious meals in the cabin to save on cost of eating out. Overall very pleased and would recommend to anyone. Thank you ♄.

ADK VACATION

The house itself was very nice. Very disappointed we were right on a main road. The traffic was very loud all day and night. Plus construction was going on all week. We definitely did not have a quite and relaxing week. The beach we were told we could use was not accessible because we did not have a permit to enter. Would not recommend or stay there again.

Convenient, Comfortable and Clean

House had the perfect layout for 2 grandparents and family of four. Loved the deck and grill as well as the fire pit & stocked dry wood. Really loved having the outdoor space! House is clean and well stocked. For our first trip to the Adirondacks, this was close to stores, food, trails etc! Overall, would highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable house close to Old Forge.
