The rooms are all accessible from a courtyard and on the coldest day of the year, they had left the heating off in the room so it was freezing and we ended up sleeping fully clothed. It may be a great wedding venue but the “hotel” does not have a restaurant or bar for guests to use. We arrived after a day of travel and wanted a meal and drink - not something this hotel can provide. Also if you want breakfast, you need to request it the night before. Would not stay again.

Beautiful setting but understaffed

I stay a number of times a year, normally ok, when checking in, reception is sometimes busy away from the desk, waiting for 5mins or so, but generally ok. I had to chase reception this time and then chase for Var person, both lovely ladies, the hotel always seems short staffed. No food in the evening, some sandwiches and pots ok for snacks

A lovely Country house with super Helpful staff
