Beautiful setting but understaffed

I stay a number of times a year, normally ok, when checking in, reception is sometimes busy away from the desk, waiting for 5mins or so, but generally ok. I had to chase reception this time and then chase for Var person, both lovely ladies, the hotel always seems short staffed. No food in the evening, some sandwiches and pots ok for snacks

I've stayed here many times while working away, such friendly staff and beautiful rooms. Super helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I will always stay here if I'm working in the area . Excellent breakfast also 👍👍🔥

We made a last minute booking at Mulberry house for a local concert. The place was STUNNING. It had a really great atmosphere and felt really welcoming. The room was brilliant, and had everything we could want including wireless charging, hairdryer, a fan, kettle and water. The bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The alpacas were an unexpected bonus! We said that if we were local this would be the perfect wedding location!

Excellent room with delicious breakfast

It was a beautiful modern room with a walk in shower. Great wireless chargers in the room as well. There was no food or drink for the evening but the town is very near. The lady on breakfast was superb. Excellent service and went that extra mile for you. I would certainly stay again

Friendly staff, not sure if it was me but didnt realise they dont do evening meals. Bit of pain to go out due to remote location. Room was quite small, walls paperthin. Noisey neighbours at 2am coming in and trying to be sick.....Not great when you have work next day at 7am.
