Desk person sent us to back of building for entry. Problem is that the door was broken and wouldnt open. There we were, standing in the rain and couldn't get in. Went back to desk - and he had the audacity to ask me if I knew how to use the card. Sent me BACK to the door that was broken and it still wouldn't work. Ended up going thru a side door completely wet from walking around. NOT VERY HAPPY.

1st room had not been cleaned, dirty laundry on the floor, dirty bar of soap on a dirty tub/ shower, front desk guy looked like some kind of gangster, guy prowling the hallways on a scooter. Makes you think you’re in a third world country, have stayed there many times , don’t no if the place has changed ownership, but the place looks more rundown it the last few months the it has in the last 12 to 14 years I’ve been staying there

We had difficulty checking in. It took several minutes and me talking to Expedia to get us checked in. The room was clean, the mattress good and the best pillows on our trip. If only they'd had cotton sheets. But the heater in room 128 made the worst racket every time is turned on and when it wasn't you could hear street noise from the highway. Also, the alarm was set to go off at 6:30 am and the friendly staff didn't know any more than I did how to program them. So, I got no sleep at all. The breakfast was the usual fare--waffles, eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, yogurt, toast, fruit, etc. The best thing about this hotel was their lemon poppy muffins. They were exceptionally good!

On first impression was thought to be low-income housing option. The stairs were dark & carpet was awful and looked dirty. The TV dish didn't work & when told about it, the guy said he'd come check it in a bit but never showed up. Will not stay here again, it wasn't worth the money.
