Well. I like this hotel and been a guest here since 1996. But, I haven't been to the Big A since around 2002. I needed a place that didn't need a major credit card to check in. I stayed just to go to the Angels game. I checked in, paid the cash deposit and showered and went to the game. I came right back because I forgot something. Omw back to the room someone came running and yelling in a mad way, I explained I am a guest and just left something. In the morning I crap and go the paper and there is literally two squares. I called and asked if they could bring me any they said no. I asked if I can check out a couple of minutes late they said no. But I left my Torah accidentally and came back two hours later and they gave it back to me.

It was a nice room, the only thing I didn't agree with was the $75 charge to switch from a king size bed to 2 Queen size beds. They also need to put more than 2 towels and 2 washcloths in the room. They should also provide hand towels. Had to use wash cloth to dry hands after washing. I think they need to put a little shelf in the shower to put your soap, shampoo on. Had to set it on the shower floor. I felt the owners were friendly. I'd stay there again . I'd recommend it to family and friends. Convenient location. All in all a good clean place to stay.

Place has see better days but I’d stay there again

No surprises. Place has definitely seen better days, but it was reasonably comfortable and clean. The mattresses were a little on the hard side (for me), but they were in good shape. The bathroom was clean. The bathroom fan was very loud. The room heater made the place a comfortable temperature but with a consistent rattling noise. Our room had no lamps, just one oddly-colored light in the middle of the ceiling. Plenty of damage to the walls and ceiling, and the floor was pretty dirty. The fridge and microwave worked, and our room had a dining room table against one way — which was odd, but quite convenient for putting our things down. For the price (at the location), I’d definitely stay there again.

Wouldn’t stay unless it’s your last option.

To sum it up in simple terms, the place is disgusting. The bathroom was dirty and had hair from more than one person left all around the room. The chair/couch had questionable stains for a black light and the bed squeezed like a rusty wheel with the slightest movement. The housekeeper looked dirty and sat on the stairs for hours smoking outside my room. The staff is unfriendly and charged me $84 to check in 4 hours early. The nightly rate was $88 😡.

We had to book in a pinch. The room was cleaned but felt dirty because of the old amd worn furniture. My daughter cried because it was “scary”. No way any of us would shower in that shower!

Nice place, for last minute stay.

Last minute stay in the Santa Ana area, and we chose this place. Room was ok but the bed was hard and there wasn’t enough towels. No bath tub stopper either.
