Stunning location, bad sleep quality and care
This trullo is small but nice, especially the outside spaces are very nice. Kitchen is outside, pool and chairs with sea view, surrounded by olive trees. Location is practical, on a hill, overlooking the environment, close to Ostuni, which is a nice town for eating out and groceries. Many must see places are within 1 h driving which makes it very convenient. You need a car, there is parking at the house. There is noise at night from neighboring villas.Check-in is easy, pleasant contact with the host that welcomed us. He was friendly and responsive.The free check-in window is only from 4 to 8 pm, after you have to pay a very hefty fee of 100 EUR, which we found a bit abusive especially since 8 pm is rather early. It was well communicated beforehand but a bit exaggerated given the already high nightly rate.During check-in, our host saw the airco and light outside didn't work, so 2 people had to come to repair. This should have been checked and solved before our arrival. It also meant we did not have airco the first night. It was repaired, but the last night it broke down again. For the lack of care before our check in and the 2 very hot nights without airco, I have removed one star each as this was not meeting our expectations and not delivering the quality people expect if you charge such high prices. The agency also did not proactively offer compensation.All in all: stunning location but bad sleep comfort and therefore the price/quality ratio of this place is not good.
