I like that the property is clean the staff is friendly. The room i stayed in is very clean and nice. If iam visiting Ottawa again i would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is continental and parking is included in my stay that is a plus. Definitely recommend staying here👌.

We did a late check-in after a 10-hour drive. The process was quick, but as soon as we got to the room we realized the AC wasn’t working. The receptionist came to check and then asked her colleague for help. It was pretty clear they had no idea what the issue was, but they stayed in the room trying for about 10 minutes. When they couldn’t fix it, they told me the hotel was fully booked and might have a fan for us—a fan, after a long drive in summer heat! I told her that was not an option. She then said she would need to call maintenance, but wasn’t sure how long it would take for someone to come and fix it. They also mentioned they had “no partnership” with other hotels, so transferring the booking wasn’t possible. Meanwhile, the other receptionist was trying to switch rooms, but suddenly “the system wasn’t working.” After about 40 minutes of waiting, a third staff member was able to make the switch. The new room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of tasty options. Overall, the property itself is nice, but the customer service has a lot of room for improvement. I could tell the receptionists were trying to do their job, but they didn’t seem to have much experience handling common situations like this. A bittersweet experience.
