The neighbourhood At about 350 meters (Piazza Magione) and 450 meters (Piazza Rivoluzione) you can enjoy the MOVIDA Palermitana with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, some of them unique in their kind, open until early morning. Within 5 minutes you can also walk / jog along the MARINA, BY THE SEA.
Few steps away from the apartment, you are in Via Vittorio Emanuele, The latter will take you directly to the Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria (also known as Piazza della Vergogna), the Church of San Giovanni Degli Eremiti, the Cathedral, the Royal Palace with its beautiful Palatine Chapel.
For all antiques lovers visiting Palermo, every Sunday morning, I recommend not to miss the legendary market in Piazza Marina located between the sea and the old city, within the ancient Kalsa district, just few minutes away.
Its stalls are arranged in such a way as to form a circle that literally embraces the nineteenth-century Villa Garibaldi, with trinkets and real period pieces, unique in their kind.
City Center living & natural lighting Please note, most of accommodations located in the city centre can experience some low/moderate noise level, from vehicular/commercial activities during the day from 10am up until 10.30pm together with lack of natural light, amplified by the fact of the narrower streets. For more info please contact your host. It is fair to say that those characteristics are very common when leaving in the city centre ( Old town )
Moving around The main Palermo Central Station is approx 800 meters away. Conveniently, within Central Station there is a bus terminal to / from the airport, departing every 30 minutes, it will take about 50 minutes of travelling , or if you prefer you can take a train with about 55 minutes journey directly to the airport.
From Central Station you can easily travel to all directions within mainland Sicily.

Other things to know. ( For car drivers ) Please note that car driving restrictions apply. For this reason, if you wish to travel within the area, you will need to purchase a permit, which costs ⏠5.00 per day, at any newsstand around here, to reduce pollution, the number of cars and safeguard the historic building. It is also essential to remember, being a ground floor, in the narrow streets of the historic center, the telephone reception is weak, but present.

Our host, Fulvio, was so welcoming. He made us feel at home and helped us with ideas of where to go and what to do in Palermo. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The location is perfect for exploring the historic district of Palermo.
The condo is well equipped with amenities, and is located nearby several great dining options. It is close to many attractions and sights by walking distance and is overall a place Iâd recommend. Host greeted us by arrival, we had a nice chat, and also met us for goodbye upon departure. Had a super stay.
It was a beautiful space and attention to detail was impeccable. The location was excellent close to the harbour, four corners and lots of restaurants. Itâs downtown so have an eye pillow and ear plugs if you canât sleep with noise and a bit of lighting.
The apartment's location is fantastic, within walking distance of all major attractions and a grocery store. Fulvio is a great host; he was a huge help organizing transportation to and from the airport and scheduling cleaning times around our day trips. The apartment is well-equipped and has everything you need for a short stay. I would stay there again. 100%.
First the host is amazing and met us at the property. This property is walkable from the train station. Its sits on a small street with a pizza shop 20 feet from the door. A butcher shop 40 feet and a very fine restaurant 40 feet away. This property was comfortable, clean and very well kept up. The tourist sites are all within walking distance and we felt very safe in Palermo walking after dark. We would definitely stay there again.
