"Le Rose di Nonna Maria," a luxury apartment in the city center

"Le Rose di Nonna Maria" is a 200-square-meter luxury apartment available for short-term rentals for exclusive use, designed for tourists as well as business travellers. Located on the fourth and top floor of an Art Nouveau building from the early 1900s with an elevator, it is situated on Via Jean Houel, in an exclusive, quiet, and secluded area, yet strategically located just a five-minute walk from the heart of Palermo, the main Viale della Libertà, and the Teatro Massimo, as well as the shopping streets, nightlife districts, the “Lolli” Metro stop—which also connects to the airport—and the Palace of Justice.

The elegance of a home with classic design, combined with genuine Sicilian hospitality, offers the perfect formula for enjoying a vacation in absolute serenity and harmony. The apartment’s exceptionally high standards of quality and the attentive, courteous assistance of the owners make every guest’s stay unique and unforgettable.

The apartment, recently renovated with attention to detail while preserving its original structure, is fully furnished and equipped, offering spacious and elegant living areas comparable to the suites of the finest hotels.

The flooring features fine “Rosa del Portogallo” stone, elegantly interspersed with “Doussie Africa” wood and “Sicilian Majolica” tiles; the wood panelling on the walls, and the furnishings featuring period furniture, accessories, and decor, make the house enchanting and full of charm, without neglecting the finest technological amenities—all provided free of charge:
• central air conditioning with individual controls for each room;
• independent heating with remote control;
• natural gas fireplace with remote-controlled on/off function;
• high-speed Wi-Fi and internet station with printer/scanner/copier;
• 2 satellite smart TVs, one of which has a 65-inch screen.

To enjoy moments of complete relaxation in a warm and refined setting, guests have access to the large entertainment room, which overlooks the main street through two balconies: sip tea from a fine porcelain cup with a traditional almond cookie by the fireplace, use the silver cutlery to savour a slice of fruit tart, listen to good music by playing a 33-rpm vinyl record on the antique record player, choose a book in its original language, sit at the piano to play a piece of classical music, or make use of the technology freely available to guests—these are the comforts offered.

Those staying at “Le Rose di Nonna Maria” for business purposes can also use the space as a meeting room, as it is equipped with a large six-seat Baroque-style table, a 65-inch Smart TV for video conferences, and an internet station with a printer, scanner, and copier. Adjacent to this is a separate study with a large safe.

There are three bedrooms, all with private bathrooms—one of which includes a bathtub: one single bedroom with a queen-size bed, one double bedroom, and one double bedroom with an extra bed (the latter located on the mezzanine level, accessible via an internal staircase), where the opulence of the embroidered pure-linen sheets offers long-forgotten pleasures of yesteryear. There are three portable cribs ready for use for the little ones.

The Provençal-style kitchen, furnished with old but functional pieces on tiles replicating Sicilian majolica, is equipped with new cookware and fine porcelain dishes.

A play area for children, the laundry room, and the outdoor spaces—the veranda (heated and equipped with a smart TV) and the flower-filled terrace, where you can relax in the open air without compromising your privacy, and where smokers can enjoy themselves—complete the home’s living spaces.

THE APARTMENT IS SANITIZED AFTER EACH STAY.
