Great location for short stay in Palermo
The apartment was as described and in an excellent location for easy access to plenty of restaurants and bars and an easy walk into the main tourist areas . It is modern , clean and spacious, although lack of shower curtain results in very wet floor after each shower , there are very few glasses and drinking cups available and on the terrace only 2 chairs and very small table. The apartment is ideal for 2 couples, however , we were 3 friends travelling and therefore wanted to make use of the 3 bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom offers a sofa bed , which is as advertised however it was not made up on arrival and took until the 3rd day to get the bedding for this, albeit sheets rather than a duvet cover.
It must be noted you are not dealing with a homeowner, you are dealing with a Management Company. They will only deal via WhatsApp and this makes all communications very impersonal.
We found communication with the managers to be poor and unhelpful, and often taking 24 hours + to get any response. Unfortunately there was no flexibility to leaving luggage at checkout which spoilt our last day in Palermo. Overall, it is a lovely property, it just lacks nice touches you would normally receive from a homeowner such as, tourist information, dish sponge, tea towel, welcome pack etc. and the personal touch when help is needed.
