Palermo is a vibrant and ever-changing city. Its historic center pulses with life day and night and is the subject of an urban redevelopment project. possible to hear noises due to the presence of construction sites, but also of clubs and meeting spots for tourists and residents.
Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the country and the capital of Sicily, offers plenty of wonderful Unesco heritage sites that can be visited in the four historic districts of the city. In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of BallarĂČ and Capo. It doesnât matter if itâs lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire prominent buildings, streets and squares.
The central station, where the airport shuttles and buses stops are to be found, is located a few meters from the apartment.
Where do I start? If youâre thinking of renting this place, DO NOT do it! In summary: checking supposed to be at 3p, I got the info to access the apartment at 3.30p after 3 long calls from my US phone (I donât even want to know how much that will cost me). After we finally got to the apartment we soon found out the the 3 a/c units werenât workingâŠor better, theyâre connected to only 1 compressor so what you get is barely a fan that moves hot air. To add, the WiFi is very spotty so most of the time it wasnât working. The apartment is pretty nice but there were no glasses to drink from so we had to use cups that they promptly make sure that you wash before leaving (unless you want to get charged I guess). Overall a horrible experience. This wasnât our first time in Palermo so we expected high temperatures and a more ârelaxedâ approach but service and property ruined our stay .
Amazing location! Everything was at our fingertips and the apartment was perfect! Hosts and accessing the apartment was easy! We enjoyed our morning meals and evening cocktails on the deck and it was perfect! Hope to come back again!
