Small private retreat
Posted Feb. 21, 2024 on HomeAwayThis casita is perfect for two. Quiet, clean, it’s just as listed. It’s close to the shopping district. Mike made sure everything was perfect and was very responsive if I had any questions. I would rent again.

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Instructions easy to follow. Exactly what we had hoped for. Thank you so much!

Posted Jan. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayWe spent two weeks at the property. The place lived up to it's billing. Very nice indoors . Comfortable bed, great shower and new appliances. We really enjoyed the outdoor setup. Beautiful private back yard with a pool, grill and comfortable chairs. Mike and Jojie were great hosts. They did such a good job on the setup we didn't have any issues. We did have an Rx delivery that required a signature and they made sure they were available to sign. Great location close to highway 111. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing hosts, super clean comfortable casita

They took care of everything I needed.
100% recommend it.

It was wonderful to have Agueda stay with us as our 1st snowbird. We would recommend any host to have her stay at your property as she is clean quiet and respectful. We would welcome her back anytime.

David was a pleasure to have stayed at our Casita, he was quiet respectful and just an all around great guy. After he checked out it was hard to tell that he had even stayed with us the place was so clean. Needless to say I would recommend him to any host and we hope he comes back again.

Relaxing Retreat for 2
Posted Apr. 3, 2023 on HomeAwayThe pictures are totally accurate for this very cozy casita. Beautifully appointed and the outdoor space is completely private with the exception of the 2 neighbour cats who would pop by to say hello. We loved having the pool to ourselves. The pool heating fee was $75 for the first day and $50 for each day after but we felt it was worth it to get the full enjoyment of the property. Mike is awesome to deal with. Super responsive to any request and detail as well as recommendations for restaurants and activities. The welcome basket of snacks, drinks and banana bread was a wonderful start to a great week. We walked to most restaurants and shopping areas. El Paseo is a high end shopping area with amazing restaurants and public art just blocks away. Palm Springs is about a 20 minute drive. Would love to go back!

Posted Nov. 17, 2022 on HomeAwayIt was our first time to stay at a casita, and we are happy that we chose the Palmera for our 3 night stay. Our stay at the Palmera was short but sweet. The casita was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is located in a nice neighborhood and close to many shops and restaurants. The host was very welcoming and extremely nice, and made sure our needs were met throughout our stay. We will surely choose to stay here again in our future trips.

Host cancelled reservation
Posted Oct. 10, 2022 on HomeAwayHost cancelled the reservation on the day we were supposed to arrive. I booked this trip on June 6th and stated, at that time, exactly who would be joining me. I woke to and email on the morning of October 7th, the day we were supposed to arrive telling me the reservation was cancelled due to city not allowing a 3 person occupancy at this location. Four months had passed since I first booked. It was very disappointing and inconvenient to scramble to make reservations elsewhere for the day of departure and unprofessional on the hosts part for not informing me a lot sooner.

This guest did not make it clear that there were 3 people coming to our casita. Our listing clearly states only 2 people are allowed on our property per city ordinance.
In addition she only booked 2 guests through VRBO, and once we found out the day before their arrival that she is bringing 3 people which is against our house rules and city ordinance we had to cancel her reservations so that we do not lose our short-term rental permit and after talking to VRBO customer service.
We do not recommend any hosts to accept any reservation from this guest as she is trying to circumvent the rules.

Great location
Posted Aug. 5, 2022 on HomeAwayNice little spot for one or two people. Great salt-water pool. Good bed, shower, kitchen. All the comforts. And super close to Paseo and sooo many restaurants. Perfect host as well.
