Great location on Thomas Drive. Walking distance to new Tootsie's and several popular bars and restaurants. Park right at your front door and no waiting on elevators at this family friendly complex. Sugar Beach condos are beachside so no crossing Thomas drive to enjoy the sugar white sands. This is a ground floor unit with a lush lawn right outside to enjoy games. You can relax here and sit on your patio overlooking the freshwater pond. Feed the Koi fish or stroll along the short path to the beach and enjoy the courtyard. Just 250 steps to the sugar white sands. Sugar Beach is a low rise property that features tennis/ pickleball courts a swimming pool, grilling area, and a wonderful clubhouse with ping pong table and kitchen/meeting area. Beach loungers (1 pair) and umbrella service included with rental in season (March to October) so no need to tote much to beach. Discounted rentals available for additional sets.
Complex has a fresh water pond with turtles and koi fish, bbq area, clubhouse, shuffleboard, pool & lighted tennis/pickle ball court. Just steps from the pool to the beach!

Fully equipped kitchen and condo. Washer/ dryer combo, iron & board, hair dryer.

Free WiFi and cable TV

Walk to Guadalajara, Ms. Newby's, Hammerhead Fred’s, Longboards, PCB Winery, coffee shops, ice cream , pizzeria, many restaurants, shopping, golf, go-carts & bars! Walk to Tootsie's!

Please note: Sugar Beach Owners Association requires primary renter to be 25 and stay in unit. There is a $35 parking registration fee collected at during the online registration process.

Please contact us prior to booking with pet. For stays three nights or less pet fee is $80 for 1st pet and $40 additional for second pet. For stay of 4 nights or longer pet fee is $150 for 1st pet and $50 for second pet. These fees are paid to the HOA at registration. We ask that the pets be registered 2 weeks prior to stay. Weight limit is 30 pounds. Certain breed restirctions apply so please check before booking. Vet records to be provided upon registration.

Check In time is 4:00pm
Check out time is 10:00 am.

Early check in or late check out available if cleaning time permits for a $35 fee per request due to high demand/requests.  Please confirm same with owner ahead of time.

Please ask about snow bird rates monthly winter rates!

FAQ's
1) Does unit have ocean view?
Unit does not have ocean view but has a lake view. Complex is on the beach but is U shaped with inside units facing the lake?

2) Does unit have steps?
There are 8 steps down from parking lot into unit. Otherwise stepless.

3) Does beach allow pets?
Per Panama City Beach ordinance dogs are not allowed on beach and you risk getting a ticket. There is a city dog park on beach about 15 minutes away. Dogs are allowed in complex on leash if registered.

The unit was so cute and well equipped with everything we needed. We had 2 small dogs with us, and the area outside the unit was perfect for them. There was a nice area to be able to take them for a short walk. Good restaurants around us, and the dog friendly beach was not far away.

Location was nice. Able to park right at the back door. Patio door overlooked the pond. We had a pretty white heron to watch. Host was very communicative. Kitchen was stocked. Plenty of utensils, dining ware, cookware, blender and microwave. Short walk to the beach. Clubhouse was very nice. Kitchen, tables and chairs, ping pong, big screen tv. Grills outside.

Great location. Just across the complex to a beautiful beach 3 or 4 restaurants, coffe shop and hand rolled ice cream right across the street the complex has several nice area’s for Tennis, corn hole , bbq , pool and clubhouse. Minutes drive to pier park , zoo and anywhere else you may want to go Clean and comfortable

The location was great, easy to walk to almost everything. You can even walk to the grocery store if you don't mind a couple miles round trip but it is an easy walk. The w all to the beach is also very easy and short. The complex is very clean and well kept. Everyone at the complex was very friendly. Did have to figure out how to set the hold temp on the smart thermostate to keep the temp from changing during our stay but other than that we had no issues.

We had a lovely stay at Kim’s property. From making the reservation to check out she was a delight to work with. She answered any and all questions we had. Unit is clean and very comfortable. The walk to the beach takes about 2 minutes. The added bonus of beach lounge chairs and umbrella being provided was so nice. Will be back!

Kimberly was a wonderful host! Easy to follow instructions. Answered all my questions quickly and then was hands off. Perfection!The location was great. There's a lot going on outside the complex, but once insde the interior of the Sugar Beach complex you experience quiet serenity. The beach was gorgeous and the included chairs and umbrella were so appreciated. The ponds look dismal from the sky shots in the listing but in person they are beautiful and relaxing. My kids loved the turtles, fish, cranes. Ping pong, drinks, and snacks in the clubhouse were great. Pool was clean. We loved the deep end. The unit itself was a little rough around the edges but so worth it for such great beach access. Showers worked great, comfy beds (king on the softer side, queen more medium). Pullout was fine for a young kid but thin mattress. Dog friendly was awesome. 4 showers at the beach exit. Tons of space on the beach and even with two bigger hotels next store still felt spacious. We're snorkeling junkies so St. Andrews park was incredible!!! Best beach snorkeling we've experienced yet. Thousands of colorful fish. Crabs, one sting ray (don't worry!), my kids saw a manatee!

Not too long of a walk to the beach. Pool was always crowded but we did go in July so that’s probably considered a peak month. No steps out from back door but there were steps to get into front door and traveling with senior dogs plus my senior mother we weren’t really anticipating that when we read ground level. Plenty of towels and pans were provided; I always bring my own and this is the first condo I’ve stayed at to where technically speaking I didn’t need to bring my own. Nice oven for cooking. Plenty of seating in living room. When there was an issue with the front bedroom being too hot the host immediately sent a fan to help cool it down so that was nice. Good location as far as Panama City goes as well! Host was good about communication during stay. Beach chairs are great.

What a laugh!! POS property!!!

Very poorly maintained. Got in on Sunday. Lock box did not work. After several calls and about an hour we got in the condo. Lady told us the door would be repaired tomorrow. Hall bath toilet ran the whole time we were there. It was supposed to be repaired tomorrow. Well tomorrow NEVER came!!!

Spring Break Vacay

Kim's condo made a wonderful home for my crew during Spring Break. Communication with her was great. The home was clean and had all the necessary items. We enjoyed cooking breakfast, then walking out to the beach to enjoy the beautiful blue water and white sand.. The complex was safe and secure and has pickleball, tennis and shuffleboard courts which helped keep my crew entertained. There was plenty other entertainment and food nearby, even within walking distance. I would definitely stay again!
