Welcome to Tidewater 1809

Tidewater 1809 is a 1Br/2Bath gulf front condo located on the white sandy beaches of Panama City Beach! This beautiful condo features the master bedroom on the gulf with wall to wall views of the sparkling emerald waters. Enjoy waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Beach service included during season (March 1-October 20).

The kids will love the separate bunk area for playing and sleeping! Plus, if extra space is needed the sofa pulls out into a queen sleeper. Warm and inviting decor will make you feel relaxed and ready to vacation with all the comforts of home included. HDTV and high speed internet are also available in this unit.

Tidewater is within minutes to Pier Park, The City Pier-a local fishing spot, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Dusty's Oyster Bar, Ron Jon, Pompano's Seafood Restaurant and much more.

The resort charges a registration fee for parking and for wristbands. 2-bedroom unit: $48 + tax +credit card fee
Total $54.04 and includes up to 2 parking passes and up to 8 wristbands. Wristbands required for all occupants over age 12. Late registrations (within 1 day of check-in) will incur an additional $10 penalty fee.

Tidewater Beach Resort is a 570 unit, 30 story, luxurious condominium residence that offers the perfect balance between being close to everything but far enough away so that you don’t spend your time stuck in traffic. The building is located on the beach and very close so that the gulf is just a few steps from the elevator. Amenities offered include:

Love Tidewater. This condo was advertised in the headline as having beach service, it did not. Had to pay additional for beach service, very disappointed. The beach service is why we chose this condo. Property management group refused to reimburse our beach service fee.

Have stayed in this exact condo before several years ago. It was a lot nicer then! Theres a lot of things that need to be professionally fixed and cleaned. The couch & chair are full of stains and wore out. Curtains in the living and bedroom have stains and one side in the living wouldn’t open. Toilet in the master wobbles and trim is split. Bedroom door is busted up and seemed to try to be fixed with caulk. The agitator cap in the washer is broke off just laying in the washer. Elevators are so slow but it did seem like they were in the process of replacing them. Thats just things we noticed in our short stay.

Property manager was amazing. Apparently the washer needed to be fixed and no one told us until 4 days into our trip when i received a text that they were on their way to the unit. The floors were filthy on our arrival and there wasnt proper materials to clean with so we went and bought cleaner and a mop. Property manager offered to take care of it, but bless her heart she didnt have things with her to clean either. Also, no linens were left for the twin bunk bed, so she had to bring those to us. Elevators are very overwhelmed at this Property. Be ready to wait, sometimes for 15 or more minutes! If you want to cook while on vacation, this is not the unit for you. Kitchen is small and layed out poorly. Not properly stocked if you wanted to make a full meal. Master bed was comfortable.

2nd stay at tidewater bath stay not very pleasant.

The condo was listed as a two bedroom room.It was actually a one bed room with a bunk cubby hole and fold out couch. The remote to the T.V. Was gone so the kids had no T.V., but the property manager did bring a new remote. The washer/dryer leaked all over the floor. The room its self had a lot of cosmetic damage. None of the doors in the condo locked. The Elevators in this place are absolutely beyond terrible. The average wait of 20 to 30 minutes just to get on an elevator. Each ride to and from the 18th floor could take 5 to 10 minutes. The beach behind the Tidewater was nasty trash everywhere buried in the sand and just laying on the beach. I personally will not be staying at the tidewater again. Twice bitten, Three times would be the definition of insanity and may lead to a mental break down. Would advise to avoid this location.

Needs updated

Tidewater is much too busy. The elevator situation is out of hand, expect to wait for 25 minutes for an elevator. This room needs some serious upgrades. I know people are hard on property so it’s hard to have nice things but some attention is needed. the couch is in horrid condition with multiple water rings. Truly too dirty for me to consider sitting on it. Thankfully we found a clean sheet in the closet and put it over the couch. Looks like chocolate milk has spilled down the curtains in the bedroom. The twin bunk beds creak with the slightest movement. Master bedroom door will not lock. We reported the leak from the washing machine but maintenance found an entirely different leak at the hot water heater and never addressed the washer leak. The washer leak has been going on for some time as the quarter round has disintegrated away from the wall at the tub. Kitchenette chairs are of cheap quality- be careful the legs are bowed in, looks as if the chair will collapse. I told my family not to sit in those as I didn’t want them to break on us. The one plus

Condo staff extremely rude and wait for elevators excessive

From the moment we checked in, Samantha at the check in desk was rude, gave us no instructions, and in general made us feel unwelcome every time we walked by the desk thru our stay. When we checked out, I explained our wristbands were on the kitchen counter and our code to get in the condo to return them had expired. She gave us rude responses and nasty looks and said that was our problem and she would not help us get in our room and we would be charged for each wrist band. I tried to speak to another employee at the desk and Samantha pushed her out of the way and would not let me. The elevator wait time was unbelievable, sometimes over 20 minutes to get one and when the door opened, it was too full to get on. I would not stay at this property again unfortunately due to the staff and elevators. One day someone dropped a glass off a balcony which came within a couple feet of my daughter, she was hit but thankfully not cut. Two other times there were domestic disputes with police called. Definitely not a family atmosphere.

This condo is not set up right . The refrigerator will not open but about half way because it’s to big. The oven drawer will not close because it catches on the plug in . Only had one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom for a stay of 7 days , we also had to clean the bathtub before we could use it.Was just not satisfied with the unit for the price. It was all I could do to open the sliding glass door to the outside balcony. And had 1 garbage bag also for the 7 night stay. And if you needed more you had to pay for it from the front office desk..

Elevator situation ugg

The condo was as advertised. The patio doors are heavy but slide easy, you’ll figure that out. Elevator situation can be a nightmare on prime time check in days and if a storm hits and everyone is trying to get back to the room. Remedy for us was walk up to floor 3 (if your coming in from beach with a crowd and a elevator line)and then catch one. If not you’ll likely be waiting for 30-60 minutes. We never waited longer than 10 minutes. Al in all great stay and great trip for trip number 10 to PCB

Family vacation to PCB

The condo was amazing and the view from the balcony was beautiful. It was very clean on arrival and there was no trouble with accessing the unit. The amenities are great. We loved the pools and the restaurant downstairs has great breakfast options. Food was great! The only issues we had for our entire stay was the elevators. It would take 30 minutes or more for an elevator to arrive and there is no walking up 18 flights of stairs. I really like Tidewater and would definitely stay at this condo again. I guess I’ll just have to deal with the elevators.

We love Tidewater Resort!

This is our second year staying at Tidewater and had another great family vacation experience. I had read previous reviews about cleanliness issues and issues opening the balcony doors. The unit was very clean when we arrived, I usually bring my own Bissell Crosswave to keep up with the floors while we stay and I highly recommend that. The balcony doors were harder to slide but did work and almost worked better for us with a toddler that didn’t have easy access to the balcony. Great elevator service and wait times this year. Overall I cannot say a thing negative and we will definitely be coming back!

PCB Summer Vacation

The whole family really enjoyed our stay, from spacious condo, to the proximity to Pier Park & restaurants. Everything was perfect. We would recommend to anybody looking for a great vacation rental!
