Gulf Front Cottage with Beach Access In Private Gated Community

Reverse Living Floor plan provides gulf front views from the open concept kitchen, dining and family room. The vaulted ceilings upstairs enhances the space and feeling of openness. Enjoy unobstructed Gulf views from a huge covered balcony (the empty lot between the house and the beach is vacant which we own it as well with no plans to build till 2028). The kitchen is perfect for the hosting your friends and family. Relax and get away from it all in a the huge master downstairs with its private bath. The Kids will love their own get away in a private bunk room with a private bath. If you have a few little ones, or if you just needs some privacy for reading, an additional room is available off the master. This cozy spot has a daybed with trundle and room for a stow away crib. The house is equipped with a private outdoor shower and the direct beach access is less than steps away. Beach chairs and an umbrella are set up daily by La Dolce Via who also rents bikes, paddle boards, Kayaks and can arrange a Bonfire on the beach for you. Unlike crowded beach towns on 30A, Carillon Beach has a private entry with 24 hour security. You can let your kids explore on their own and feel safe, yet you are less than 3 miles from Rosemary Beach. The closest pool is less than a block away - see the map in the photo section. Although the listing shows no cancelations, I will work with you to move your dates. You can rent a golf cart from Coastal Cars and Carts (www.coastalcc.net). Please note Carillon beach charges a $35 access and parking fee per automobile which is collected when you download the link to get your QR code for automated entry into the community.

Perfect house and location for our family of four. We love the gated neighborhood of Carillon Beach. Slice of Heaven offers great beachfront views and access which is importantly when you have young chidren and are making numerous trips back and forth from the beach. Great communication with the hose and house manager as questions arose. We will definitely be back!

This was the second time staying at this property and our 10th stay in Carillon Beach. The view is amazing and being adjacent to the walk over is clutch if you have children. Our 12 year old and 8 year old daughters loved the bunk bed set up. And we all loved the gulf view of the deck.

Truly is a Slice of Heaven!

Absolutely love this place! Carillon Beach is the best private gated community with less people and quiet. Home is best one we have been to, of our 4 years coming here. Gorgeous views and wonderful accommodation. House manager was outstanding and kind to work with and home well maintained and had everything we needed. Nothing can compare to the view of gulf from the windows and balcony. Wish we could come back here next year but already taken! Will try again.

Beachfront Stay for Families with Babies and Toddlers

This beachfront, two-story carriage house in Carillon Beach offers a beautiful view and convenient access to a public walkway to the sand. The living room, kitchen, and balcony are upstairs, while two bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs. The balcony is safe for little ones under adult supervision.The house has blackout shades or plantation shutters in all the bedrooms, which allowed us to sleep in darkness without needing portable blackout shades. The bonus room fits a pack 'n play (maybe two) but gets colder than the rest of the house. In cooler months, bring a 1.5-2.5 TOG sleep sack plus extra layers. Outlets in the room make it easy to set up a monitor and sound machine.The kitchen is well-equipped, but you'll need to bring supplies like paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soap, and detergent. If your baby doesn’t take room-temperature bottles, bring a bottle warmer. We used the microwave carefully, but a portable warmer would have been much safer.The staircase is wide, so bringing a playpen is helpful for mobile babies. While functional, the layout requires frequent trips up and down stairs, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues.The house is clean but not spotless. We noticed dust on fans and walls, wet floors from the guest shower, and a few small spiders. Rugs could use a deep clean, but bedding and towels were fresh.This house is good for families with young kids (less than 5 people). With some prep, it’s a relaxing home base.

Amazing View and convenience

We rent a place in Carillon every summer. This was the first time at this property and I can say that the view and adjacent walkover make it a place we’d like to rent again. It was perfect for our family of four which consists of an 11 and 7 year old.

Gorgeous view!

We absolutely loved our stay at Slice of Heaven. Our family of 4 loved the beachfront view and the coziness of the home. The upstairs living and kitchen area is open and walks out to the most perfect covered porch for beach views. The master bedroom was very cozy. Our kids 14 and 12 enjoyed the bunk room too! Such a perfect place with a small family and also our small dog. Carillon Beach is our favorite place and we’d certainly stay again at Slice of Heaven! Thank you!!

Great place but problems

Pros: Amazing community Great pools GORGEOUS beach views and perfect beach access Nice decor Cons: Heater was not balanced - bedrooms downstairs were freezing and upstairs was boiling hot Sliding doors were warped and difficult to open and close - lots of wear Bedrooms smelled like mildew Washing machine did not work properly - spin cycle wasn't functioning and laundry had to be hung to dry all over unit Sheets on master bed were torn Overall, this is a beautiful community and a reasonably priced rental. With that said, however, there were several deal breakers 1. temperature control in 40 degree winter weather, and 2. a broken laundry room. At ANY price point, these should be basics. I did have AWESOME communication with the owner, but never heard from the property manager, to whom he deferred me. We would definitely stay in the community again, but are not sure we would stay in this rental.
