Located near the beach, you'll find that despite it's smaller size, Moreland Carriage House is the perfect place for the lone traveler—after all, even solo trips deserve fine accommodations. It's also a great choice for the couple looking for a cozy way to enjoy the coast. You are sure to enjoy the location which features a short walk to the pristine beaches that the coast is known for. A small sitting area on the private balcony is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of warm coffee as you watch the world awaken.

Upon walking in you will find that this simple studio features a lovely king-sized bed and studio style layout. You will find that the Carriage House is quaint, simple, and truly perfect for the small family or lone traveler eager to experience the coast. Dark woods accent subtle blues and whites – colors of the sea and sand. You'll also find a nice living area directly across from the bed, which features a comfortable couch which is perfect for cuddling up late at night to enjoy a movie flickering across the screen of the provided flatscreen television. Other features include a fully equipped kitchen which not only comes with the basic cookware one might find themselves needing, but also plenty of counter space for you to cook up a feast which is sure to fill your cozy home with the warm and delectable scents of a home cooked meal.

If you continue exploring, you will also eventually discover the included washer and dryer. This in and of themselves is a great perk and ensures that there will never be any need for you to interrupt the adventure for a trip to the laundromat. You'll also find the bathroom that, despite the smaller size, does come with a walk-in shower which really is a lovely way to decompress before turning in for the night and sinking into your comfortable and plush bed. Considering the studio layout, one can even turn on the television and allow their favorite show to play in the background as they slowly sink into a dreamless sleep. Other features include a private balcony and entertainment center with DVD player. A short stroll will take you to Playground Park on one side and the white sands of Rosemary Beach on the other.

We have stayed in Rosemary for 15 years and this is the only rental we’ve ever been disappointed in.

This rental is in need of updates. It was very small for three people. The kitchen had very few dishes. The rug, comforter, chair and pillow shams were all stained and old. The bed was missing a knob. The shower was big but shower head was old. The vrbo rates were absolutely ridiculous when I could’ve just gone directly through the Rosemary Cottage Rental agency and avoided $580 additional charges. Overall, we weren’t as comfortable as we’ve been at other rentals. This rental should be updated for the price and all the additional fees!

Disappointed but short walk to Beach/Pool/playground

This is our 7th year coming to 30A so we have had some great experiences with some rental companies but I can’t say this was our best. Starting off with the positive. The Carriage House has high ceilings, lots of windows with natural light, the balcony is wonderful, you can see the ocean and it overlooks a quiet neighborhood. It’s a nice walk into town for breakfast or shopping. The playground and pool are very close by which was great! We really enjoyed the location with a 2 min walk to the beach. We also liked the garage parking. One thing that isn’t in the description is that the washer and dryer is in a little closet off the bathroom. There is a space for hanging Clothes but we decided to put our pack n play in there for our 2 year old. It has a pocket door so it made a great dark space for my toddler to sleep. Since the pack n play was in the closet we had to keep our suitcases out in the open. Which was a trade we were willing to make. The washer and dryer worked well and we used it a lot. Here are some things we didn’t enjoy. The carriage house is very outdated and hasn’t been maintained. The walls are peeling off above the shower, the shelves in the closet for clothes is about to fall over, the table in the closet is broken, there isn’t a chest of drawers, the furniture looks second hand, one bed knob was missing from the bed frame, one of our towels had holes in it, the rug in the living room is old and stained all over, the small lamp by the couch is falling apart. Walls are stained and need paint. The chairs on the balcony are badly rusted. The floor is caving in as you walk out to the balcony. The attention to detail and quality is not there. If you are thinking this is going to be a nice/updated place, it is not that. What you are paying for is purely location. If that is all you want, then this place is perfect. We had a wonderful week but probably wouldn’t rent this place again.

Awesome!

Very close to beach! We have a 3 year old and 8 year old and even though smaller was perfect for us. All pics very accurate and we plan on renting again.
