Dear Hotel Management,
We are writing to express our concerns following our recent stay at Hotel Riu Plaza Panama. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations due to a series of significant issues that impacted the quality and comfort of our visit.
The water in our room was not functioning for several hours. When it was eventually restored, there was no hot water, making it impossible for us to shower or use the restroom facilities properly. This created a highly uncomfortable situation, especially as we were traveling in a large group with children.
We were directed to use the spa facilities as an alternative, but these were overcrowded and not maintained to an acceptable level of cleanliness.
We were not informed prior to arrival that the pool would be closed due to construction. This was particularly disappointing, as it significantly limited the available activities for our family. Additionally, while having breakfast near the construction area, debris and chemical odors from the pool work interfered with our meal.
One of the elevators was out of service during our stay, causing long delays when trying to access our floor.
Room service was substantially delayed. We were initially told it would take 20 minutes, but our order arrived nearly an hour later and with missing items.
The phone in my room was out of order throughout my stay, despite assurances that it would be fixed. This made it very difficult to reach the front desk, and I had to rely on conta
