"This property was perfect for our four-generation family gathering. The house was very clean. While the upstairs common area doesn't seem large at first glance, it turned out to be entirely comfortable. The dining table was roomy for eight of us. It was easy to add a game table from the garage play area to the end of the dining table during the few days we were up to 12. The owners have struck the perfect "comfort balance". Most of the house has been upgraded, but not to the point where we ever had to worry about damaging anything. Table tops seemed indestructible. The older folks stayed off the stairs in the house and steep path to the beach. Easy to drive and park at the beach, or walk from the house. Campground below allows free walk-in access to trails and playground. The view of the ocean is as pictured and stunning. The highway is almost entirely blocked by the vegetation. Road noise can be intermittently loud during the day, but settles down at night. You can always hear the ocean. We enjoyed the ocean view and sounds both from the deck and from the inside with the windows open. The owners were wonderfully available and responsive to our requests. The household instructions were appropriate and clear. Each room had it's own, individual thermostat. Our only serious infrastructure complaint was that we had to bring our own coolers from home because one refrigerator is not big enough for 12 people. We hope to return next year."
