Do you love the beautiful things in life? A quiet environment, a gentle mountain landscape away from the usual tourist flow? Do you enjoy hiking and love Romagna cuisine?
Then you are right here!
The "Appartamentino" is located in the upper Marecchia Valley at an altitude of approx. 650 m with a wonderful view in an original small village called Villa Maindi, 45 km from Rimini in the interior of Romagna.
The 35 sqm apartment is part of a 100 year old stone house with an incredible view of the next larger town Pennabilli (there are also shops, restaurants, ice cream parlor etc.).
The surrounding area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking or just to switch off. Those who are in the mood for excursions can go to uniquely located mountain villages, swim in the nearby mountain stream or drive to the sea.

Piccola casetta con tutti i confort immersa in una vallata verde e rigogliosa. La proprietaria gentilissima mi ha aiutato a risolvere una problematica causata da un mio errore nella registrazione. Consiglio vivamente questa location, un piccolo angolo di paradiso con vicino molto posti bellissimi da scoprire ,nel verde e in piccolo borghi deliziosi.

Appartamento in the hills

We loved the quaint, antique (ceiling beams), and fully supplied nature of the vrbo. The windows open to a view of the hills around Pennabilli. Be prepared for some sporty driving to get there! The location is remote, which made it even more beautiful. There are good local caffĂšs, close restaurants (we ate near Lago Verde), and plenty to see for a multi-day stay.

Sia l appartamento che il luogo ci hanno ci hanno stupiti per la bellezza e la pace. Ci siamo innamorati del piccolo borgo con i pochi abitanti, le antiche case e la natura intatta. L appartamento Ăš veramente delizioso, pulito, fornito di tutto. Perfetta e amichevole l'accoglienza. Un bellissimo soggiorno che vorremmo ripetere presto!

Das Appartement strahlt eine ganz eigene, zauberhafte AtmosphĂ€re aus, vor allem, da es Teil eines liebevoll restaurieren Natursteinhauses ist. Es befindet sich etwas abseits von Pennabilli, in Villa Maindi, mit einem unglaublichen Ausblick auf Pennabilli und die umliegenden, bewaldeten Berge. Birgit und Bernhard waren ausgesprochen aufmerksame, offene, herzliche Gastgeber. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und uns wie Freunde gefĂŒhlt. Ruhe und Entspannung

Hier kann man sich so richtig erholen vom Alltagsstress. Alles ist genauso schön wie im Internet beschrieben. Fantastischer Ausblick und ein super gemĂŒtliches Appartement. Besonders im Hochsommer angenehm kĂŒhl. Die Besitzer sind ausgesprochen freundlich und die Nachbarn ebenfalls. Toller Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Traumhafter Ort mit Blick auf Pennabilli. Wirklich entrĂŒckt. Falls es kalt wird, gib es einen kleinen Kaminofen. Nette, entspannte Nachbarn. Salve! Guter Standort fĂŒr kleine (und grĂ¶ĂŸere) Wanderungen. Karten im Zeitschriftenladen in Pennabilli und vielleicht etwas genauer von Kompass (vor der Reise besorgen!). Schöne Orte in der Umgebung. San Marino und San Leo sind gut zu erreichen. Andere Ausflugsziele, wie z.B Arezzo benötigen pro Strecke ca. 2 Stunden Fahrzeit. Fazit: Ein schöner Standort!

De locatie is zeer rustig met een uitzicht over het dorpje Pennabilli.

Woon-slaapruimte, voldoende voor 2 personen. goed verzorgt en netjes. Geen airco noodzakelijk vanwege de erg dikke muren. Wasmachine in douche ruimte aanwezig. Een mooie slaap/verblijf plaats voor mensen die rust zoeken.

Sehr romantisch !!!

Eine Freundin und ich waren eine Woche in Pennabilly und es war wirklich wunderschön. Die Wohnung entspricht absolut den Bildern, ist sehr gemĂŒtlich und die Umgebung ist wirklich malerisch und sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und einfach zu finden. Auch vor Ort hat trotz mangelnder Italienisch Kenntnisse unserer Seits alles bestens geklappt. Pennabilly ist ein vertrĂ€umtes StĂ€dtchen weit ab vom Massentourismus wo man die Seele einfach mal so baumeln lassen kann, so das man aber bis zu den touristischen Zielen natĂŒrlich etwas fahren muss. Aber nach Rimini, Urbino oder San Marino ist es nicht weit. Wir haben unsere Zeit genossen.

Es hat alles toll geklappt: Kommunikation vorweg und vor Ort, ein gemĂŒtliches Appartement in einem unglaublichen schönen und ruhigen Tal. Viele Möglichkeiten dir Gegend zu erkunden mit Auto und zu Fuß! Oft hat man nur Vogel und ab und zu einem RasenmĂ€her gehört -Entspannung pur!

The room was great and the stay fantastic!

We were looking for an affordable place so we could spend a long time (4 weeks) in one area in Italy rather than the normal drive here, dart there, chase of a holiday that a road trip can so often be. Villa Maindi is quite central to many things in Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Marche being almost at the corner of the 3 regions. This appartmentino gave us the opportunity fulfill our dreams by being well priced and central and at the same time didn't let us down on comfort. The bed is fine, the bathroom ok, the kitchen great, the location spectacular. We really enjoyed the simple things in life for a month in a wonderful tiny village, and only a 45 min walk to a larger village with all you mostly ever need (Michelin star restaurant included). Our host was generous and helpful but at the same time left us to ourselves to discover the local and not so local sights, hiking and festivals. It is hard to overstate what a wonderful time we had, our most relaxing break ever, a real getaway. Thankyou Birgit.
