Chalets on Stoneville
The chalets are a touch of rustic charm set on a rise in a unique setting surrounded by tall gums.
Located on a 7.5 hectare (approximately 20 acres) property the chalets offer guests a quiet secluded getaway. An environment which allows you to wander through nature's beauty if you so desire or simply sit under the verandah, listen to the birds and enjoy the tranquillity.
The location in Stoneville is less than 1 hour's drive from Perth.
The chalets offer the choice of 1 or 2 bedrooms, queen size and single beds. All chalets come equipped with colour TV. tea/coffee making facilities, cutlery and crockery for 4, microwave and large fridge for those extra long stays. Some chalets also have a washing machine. There is also a complementary outside barbecue for use by guests.
All chalets have reverse cycle air-conditioning and each comes with its own relaxing spa. To give you total privacy, each chalet is located at least 20 metres from each other.
The Mundaring Weir and Lake Leschenaultia are a short drive away and are perfect spots for having a barbecue, picnic or a leisurely walk.
For those that still have the energy after a day's outing and want to go out for dinner, there are a number of excellent restaurants ans local pubs only minutes away in Mundaring or surrounding area to choose from.
I was on a working holiday for 11 nights & due to the peace & quiet, achieved much & it was a productive time. Visited by a small, cute Quenda (an Australian marsupial). I also visited the York Festival during my stay.
The chalet had everything I needed, even a spa!
Close to Mundaring shops for essentials and a morning coffee or breakfast at the Lazy Corner Cafe. Thanks to John for providing a much needed break!

Chalet was nice apart from the ant infestation, owner blamed the heat, although we did feel the chalets were a little close together.
We booked on a long weekend and paid a premium, unfortunately the toilet was blocked and unusable which detracted from what should have been a relaxing weekend. The owner did not offer any kind of compensation, just said it was impossible to get tradies on a long weekend.
Our stay here was wonderful, from the courtesy call before we arrived to check what time we would be arriving, to when we left. John was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was modern, very clean and felt like we had our own little part of the bush, very peaceful. The chalet was equipped with a lovely hot tub, well-appointed kitchen and comfy living space.
I booked my stay for a little bit of peace and that's what I got. Quiet, private and clean, but close enough to amenities if anything was needed. Recommended
Very well-maintained, clean and comfortable self contained chalet with lots of room to roam and explore. A lovely and conveniently located getaway for my friend and I to escape from the city for a night to some peace and quiet, spending the evening lounging in a field of kangaroos as the sun set, and waking up to the sounds of the birds in the bush. Thank you to our friendly host for a warm welcome.
Cold , badly furnished and over priced place. Hot water not working ... No kitchen stove pots, pans or hot plate. Nowhere to go for dinner .... no pub in area opened, brochure in lounge for local pub that was closed. Pizza bar closed had to eat Maccas for dinner.... what a terrible experience that cost us the same as the crown !
