We had a mixed experience with this property. The host is very communicative and check-in was easy. The house was surface-clean, bathrooms were well presented with good toiletries, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The location felt safe, was generally quiet, and was convenient to shops and public transport, including a bus to the airport and city train connections. Thanks for these!However, there are several enduring issues that appear in previous reviews over many years.The listing is not accurate. It advertises three queen beds, but in reality there is one queen, three singles, and a trundle. Linen was also inconsistent â only the queen bed had a top sheet. The property needs a proper deep clean. The dĂ©cor is dated and does not match the âmodernâ description.The kitchen is not fully equipped (for example, no grater) and there were no instructions for the gas oven. No tea, coffee, or sugar were provided, and any condiments appeared to have been left by previous guests rather than provided by the host. Only one tea towel was supplied. One bedroom has no wardrobe, although there are plenty of hangers.There were ants during our stay, and we bought spray to manage them. The garden is unkempt and not inviting to use. Finally, while the area is quiet, a neighbouring dog cried day and night, which may affect some guests.Overall, the stay was workable and the host responsive, but the listing accuracy and several long-standing issues need attention.
