The apartment complex is lovely, immaculately clean and the staff are all really kind and helpful. The pool is incredible, so welcome after some very hot days and the kidâs pool is lovely and warm and plenty big enough to play safely.
My only complaint is that the photos on Vrbo arenât really that accurate. We initially booked an apartment which looked from the photos (& the blurb) as though it had a separate bedroom - when we arrived it didnât and we felt it was just too small for our needs. The reception staff were so helpful and thankfully upgraded us to a bigger room on the second floor immediately.
The view from our new room (10A!) was gorgeous, right overlooking the lake with a huge balcony. Beware the photos though, most of the rooms overlook the pool and whilst that is lovely, thereâs so much building work you donât get a glimpse of the lake at all, just a building site. Thereâs also only a railing between you and your neighbour, so be prepared to get acquainted. Thereâs no getting away from looking right at them unless youâre in one of the bigger rooms.
There are some lovely restaurants locally which is great, as we found the walk into Peschiera itself too long (a good 45/50 mins) to do daily with a 5 year old, in that heat! And the buses are woeful, great if/when they arrive but thatâs a big IF!
Overall a great place to stay with plenty to do, just be aware the studio rooms are really quite small and youâre not close to town.
