Great views, house has charm, generally clean. However, I wouldn't consider it "luxurious" in the sense that the amenities are somewhat minimal (almost no paper products, only one set of towels for 8 days, had to ask a couple times for more, finally got them mid-week). Weeds in the patio, broken flower pot, private pathway to town is overrun with vegetation, multiple outside lights don't work, can't use hose reel as the leader hose has no clamp, 1st floor master bedroom door catches hard on the floor halfway open, coffee pot was unusable due to scaling and flaking inside...these things give it a sense of minimal care and not going above and beyond as expected in a "luxury" place. The wifi is useless, had to reset constantly (just a portable hotspot), so make sure your phone hotspot works if you need to connect laptop. 1st floor master shower is short, you can use the other shower on the 1st floor but there is no ledge for shampoo/soap. There is a washer on site, but no dryer so you will have to wait for towels to dry (24+ hours for us). Had no hot water for almost two days (contacted them, but they didn't have a spare FOB to open the gate to get a technician in and we were out on a day trip, so had to leave the FOB the next day). Contacted manager when we returned home to point out issues; got excuses and rebuttal instead of a resolution (claimed they don't advertise as "luxurious" (???)). Have stayed in more modest places with better amenities; looks aren't everything.
