My experience with this hotel and with Travelocity was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The hotel was undergoing construction during my stay, yet guests were not informed in advance. There was a strong paint smell throughout the building, along with dust on multiple floors and in common areas, which made the environment very uncomfortable.
The most frustrating issue was the lack of customer service. The manager, Nick, was never available to speak with despite multiple requests. Front desk staff repeatedly stated they did not have authority to resolve issues and said the manager would call me back, but I never received a return call.
I checked in on a Friday afternoon before attending a church conference at 7:00 PM. Upon entering my room, I immediately reported that the air-conditioning unit had a broken fan making a very loud noise. I was assured it would be repaired, but the maintenance technician was working on another room with no hot water. When I returned at 10:00 PM, I was informed that maintenance staff leave at 4:00 PM, meaning no repair had been completed. Since no alternative rooms were available, I had no choice but to sleep in the room. I was not reimbursed. I used Travelocity to book my stay. I filed a complaint and requested an investigation and a full refund. Two weeks later and still no response. I do not recommend using either the hotel or Travelocity.
