Our stay was wonderful, but housekeeping could use some work. We had to request clean sheets our first night and then were given new sheets and had to make our own bed, dirty dishes weren’t removed from the room and our body wash ran out. For as expensive as our stay was, these issues seem like they should have been taken care of. Someone from housekeeping should have made our bed- especially after a long day of travel, the last thing I want to do is pay $400/night to make my own bed. The grounds are beautiful, but the housekeeping issues were a big deal and sort of muted the rest of the positives here.

The remodel of the rooms are now non comforting has a “cold” bare feeling to them. Room service food was delivered as though I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut in a paper bag plastic utensils to go containers cheap and did not taste good. As a regular before the remodel, now I will not be returning here.

There were not very many people there. It seemed pretty empty. The staff were super nice in both the restaurant and spa. The pool heater was broken and there was no poolside food service so that was disappointing. There was also no jacuzzi. They did have a nice fire outside to sit by. The valet parking was free so that was nice. However we felt it was really over priced for what we got. The room was nothing spectacular. It was very noisy in the morning on the first floor.

The staff are amazing, professional and very courteous.
The only slight inconvenience was that the hot water in the shower and sink took at least 5 minutes or more to get warm. And even though we let it run for several minutes to get even a little warm, it was never really hot. I’m not sure, but it was likely an issue due to the construction going on.
Other than that (which wasn’t a big deal), we had a wonderful stay. Nice rooms, beautiful property and really great staff.

The staff from check in to restaurant to parking, All of them were courteous, kind and friendly. I would recommend this property to everyone that I know.

The room door and those around it rattle in their frames because they fit poorly. The TV size was great. No office chair in room. We were informed by phone the annual Thanksgiving buffet was cancelled for a set menu so we ate elsewhere. The downstairs bar setup was poor. No slippers with the robes. Coffee maker didn't have enough supplies.
