Could be so much more, paradise spoilt!
Not what we expected. advertised as a wellness spa resort, but reality is not!
We requested an early check in as we arrived at 9am, this was not met, waited 6 hours for our room! Wasn’t given the right information at check in. If you book half/ full board or all inclusive they give you coupons, to present when you enter the restaurant. (did not like this at all!) you get a different menu, very basic and the same menu for every meal, after 3 days we were ready for a change!!
Lots of young children, big inflatables in the pool, large groups, music playing all day, does not equal a place to come, relax and recharge! We had to ask to move rooms as the first pool access room faced out on the main pool area where everyone seemed to gather, making our room very public! (Room2114) avoid!!!!
The second was like going into a different resort, room 2118! What made this place was the staff, all so friendly and accommodating, trying to take care of your every need! We got the feel the staff were being closely watched, which made the atmosphere a little tense! On a positive note, the pool areas and grounds were beautiful! A useful note, take pumps for climbing on the rocks for when the tide is out!
