Eagles Retreat, a 4000 SQ FT private retreat with over 1500 sq ft of wrap around wood deck and seating areas plys separate flagstone patio, with tables and chairs. Nestled among the beautiful Ponderosa Pines in Strawberry, north of Payson, Arizona. A short 1.5 hour drive from Phoenix, enjoy the peace and tranquility as your closest neighbor is the Tonto National Forest.

What a house! Our son got married at the Cabins in Strawberry and we decided to have our family rent this home instead of individual cabins and what a great choice it was! Highly recommend!

It was a great place for our women's retreat. Spacious with plenty of sleeping Arrangements. The kitchen was excellent. Very much better equipped than most rental properties!! We really enjoyed the wrap around deck, the outdoor space, the elk and the hummingbirds!!

This was the most relaxing vacation experience I think I've ever had. The 1st day we were greeted by plenty elk, numerous times, followed by a large group of javalina. Elk showed up everyday. Not even sure how many different species of birds but there were plenty. A lot of nice trails to explore, no noise or light polution so the niggt sky is beautuful. There's enough space for everybody to wonder off and do their own thing if wanted. The supply of spices, cookware & dishes makes meals a breeze. It's really nice knowing all you really need to bring is food & your personal items. We will definitely stay again.

Our group of 5 couples absolutely loved Eagles Retreat! We had Elk come thru every morning and evening, a couple of them would hang out with us for quite awhile everyday of our stay. The house was perfect for our big group, lots of space to hang out, inside and outside, kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The guys enjoyed the game room too, it has something for everyone!Our host, Jeanay, was very helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. Our group enjoyed nearby activities including, fishing, golfing, and a trip to Tonto Natural Bridges Park.It is unamious with our group, we will be going back for a stay at Eagles Retreat!

Our family of 12, which included adults and 4 grans (ages 9-15) stayed 3 nights and 4 days. We had the best time! Not only is the home beautiful but the surrounding area is breath taking. The wildlife which comes to visit several times a day was an added bonus. The home owner was so helpful, making sure we knew all the important information regarding directions to the home, ideas of what to bring, things to do and all the answers to FAQ. The home is not only fully furnished but the fact the panty is loaded with every kitchen item and spice you could ask for is so helpful. We will for sure be booking another trip as soon as possible.

We had a wonderful time at the Eagle’s Retreat. It’s very spacious and the setting is beautiful. It sits right next to the forest, and lots of animals come to visit. The chairs on the patio were super comfy, and it was so peaceful just sitting out there, enjoying the outdoors. The kitchen has everything you need. The game room kept the kids very busy. It’s close to all kinds of restaurants, small shops and outdoor activities. We truly enjoyed our visit.

Great place for all ages!

This home was a dream for me and my team!!! My family consists of little ones who had so much fun on the titer totter, slide and swings. My mother who is in a wheel chair was able to get around and utilize the middle bathroom. The Elk were absolutely the best part of the trip! And the owner who is kind, friendly and quick to respond. The trip felt magical.

Every detail of this luxury cabin has been thoughtfully designed to provide a five-star experience. The kitchen is one of the nicest and most well stocked kitchens I have ever used. Amazing Stay

My family and I stayed at Eagles Retreat for a short birthday getaway for my oldest son. It was an amazing stay. The house is clean and beautiful and fully stocked with anything you would need, I thought the Christmas tree was a nice touch too! There is so much to do. My kids especially liked the game room and seeing the elk in the area. Jeanay was extremely communicative which was amazing and we had no issues with anything.

Back to Basics Mini Retreat

We were all very excited couldn’t wait for our trip to Eagles Retreat since the time we booked. It did not disappoint!! It is a beautiful cabin and located in an amazing area with beautiful views of the mountains from the wrap around deck. There were plenty of activities for the kids and adults.
