Two Bedroom. Two Bath. Ocean View. Our condo is located at Hideaway Bay Beach Club on Little Gasparilla Island and overlooks the Gulf of Mexico), a seven mile, white sand, bridge-less barrier island. Guests will park their vehicle in a secured lot and board the free condo ferry for a five minute ride to our island retreat. This piece of paradise provides a time for families and friends to reconnect as they enjoy the seclusion of this island getaway.

The bay side provides boat slips and a dock for fishing. A heated in ground pool and community barbecue grill and smoker are also located there. The screened lanai provides a view of the gulf over the boardwalk and sea oats. And the ocean waves are just a quick walk away.

This furnished condo features 'beachy' decor, comfortable luxury bedding, 2 full baths, washer and dryer, and a well furnished, full-sized kitchen with new appliances in December 2019, and new kitchen in 2025!

The unit sleeps six: one king master, one queen bed, with two twin beds in the loft. Both WIFI and satellite tv are provided. The condo is equipped with a kitchen table that will seat 6, 3 big screen TVs, one in the living room, master bedroom and 2nd bedroom. Various beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and a grill are located in the storage garage below our unit. Golf cart, paddle board and kayak are included as a courtesy for your stay!!

Because there are no stores on the island, guests will need to bring in groceries. However, wonderful restaurants and activities are within a short driving distance with a quick ferry ride back over the bay to the mainland.

Enjoy time exploring the island by foot or golf cart over the white sand paths. Various local landmarks include the island chapel, library, and Don Pedro Island State Park. With no roads or traffic, this very special island surrounds you with incredible nature, the way Florida used to be. Amazing shells, sand dollars, and shark teeth bring new surprises as you stroll on the beach. Enjoy morning coffee watching the huge variety of birds, dolphins and manatees swim by or relax with evening sunsets filled with glorious colors over the ocean waves.

Golf Cart Info
- Our golf cart is provided to our renters as a courtesy. We will do our best to maintain a running cart. If the cart has mechanical issues during your stay, we will do our best to fix it. We will not provide any refunds for a non-working golf cart. Unfortunately the sandy terrain can cause issues with the electrical carts at times, so we ask our renters to be gentle on how they use the golf cart, no puddles, no deep sand and do not overload it.

It's hard to have a bad time on Little Gasparilla island. Having a great host always makes it better. The condo was great and the host was great as well. John was very responsive to any questions and their condo was great. The location was great and the condo was beautifully done. A Little place of Paradise, LGI!

Wow, these places still exist! What a hidden treasure in Florida, loved every minute of it. So quaint and quiet, lots of relaxation and everyone is so friendly. Found my favorite place in Florida, we will definitly be back.

Bit of paradise

Loved it here! Other than the toilets having a slow time draining, we loved our stay here. The hosts were great to communicate with. The island is a bit of paradise. Great family setting. Loved the golf carts and taking the ferry back and forth. You will love it here!

Paradise!

This is our second year staying at John and Beth's place. We absolutely love it! The condo is always clean and well-kept. We love the privacy of the island and we love taking the golf cart to the beach. Our kids begged to come back after last year and we had another incredible stay. My son and I stayed on the island and we loved the condo. The beach was fun and not crowded. We had it to ourselves one day. We found plenty of shells and shark teeth. The gulf cart was nice to drive and haul all our stuff back and forth from the condo and the beach. We even used the two person kayak. The condo was clean and communication with the owners was great. We will definitely come back and stay again.

This was a very relaxing vacation. The condo was quite comfortable. The couch and one of the dining room chairs were stained but otherwise it was very clean. Walking and golf-carting to the beach was so much fun and a relaxing way to end our days of exploring.

We have been coming to the island since 2008 and we were very happy to support the return of renters to LGI and Hideaway. The beautiful beaches and wildlife was plentiful and we even got to see some sea turtles returning to the ocean after laying their eggs! Hideaway Bay and the owners have been through a lot and each day it seemed like you could feel the progress that everyone has been working so hard for. Pack lighter than you think, sunscreen and bug spray was already in the condo waiting for us (we left what we brought for the next renters) and enjoy the tranquility of LGI. 7/7 sunny days, temps 85-90, no rain, great AC and great memories.

This was our second time staying, though we brought different family this time around. Make no mistake about it -- the property is exactly as described and pictured. John is extremely responsive and will answer any questions or concerns you might have. We will absolutely be back.

We had the most wonderful time. We've been to LGI before and chose this island specifically. The ferry is a huge bonus as well as the golf cart. John was an excellent communicator . The beds were comfortable and the pillows were the best. Every day early morning, coffee and a long walk on the beach. Then back to the condo and each day we took the ferry to shop a little and grab lunch at a new location. We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday and had planned early to pick up a cake from Sassy Tarts. The cake was exceptional. We did a little crafting, fishing, sharks tooth hunting and shell collecting. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back. We absolutely loved it so much.

Excellent care for guests

We did not actually get to stay at this rental due to hurricane Ian, but the hosts communicated so well with me leading up to the trip, answering all my questions promptly. Sadly, the hurricane did a lot of damage to the island, but the hosts refunded all our money since we couldn’t stay there. This was beyond what the rental agreement would have said to do, and I am so thankful they were so kind! I hope to get to stay at their place in the future, but in the meantime, know that these are exceptional hosts!

Escape from life to paradise!

This is our 3rd year at the same property and we cannot be happier! We love the new updated kitchen countertops. The unit is always clean and has a great view. We love having the beach so close and taking the golf cart there is a bonus! Being an isolated, car-free island, we love how empty the beaches are and it really is paradise without shoulder-to-shoulder tourists. We love how quiet it is and how we can spend time relaxing with our family. The hosts communicate really well and we just love this place. It's our new yearly tradition!

Our stay

We arrived after dark and could not find the condo we wandered around for a long time lugging the luggage carts. The condo units were not marked very well and we were eaten alive by the mosquitos. I tried to call the owner and he did not respond back to me. Luckily someone answered their door to help us out.the back doors were broken and we couldn’t use the dishwasher. However the beach was pristine and we had a wonderful time .
