"We had a wonderful stay on Naxos and were really pleased we chose this quieter part of the Island. Close to some gorgeous tavernas, easy reach to the shops, close to several beautiful beaches and the views from the villa is really lovely. Our flight was delayed meaning we arrived quite late in the evening. Alexandra was really charming and kindly waited to greet us making us really welcome. The villa has three good bedrooms with effective air conditioning and very comfy beds. Don’t expect a view from the bedrooms which were all closed off keeping them cool but no views. The central areas are very comfortable with really great views out to sea. Lovely pool and comfortable outdoor seating areas. We wanted to watch the England matches and the hosts very kindly sourced us an HDMI cable to enable us to link to our laptop. Our only reservation was that the water was quite difficult to regulate and we mostly had luke warm/cool showers and the water pressure meant that only one person could shower at a time. My personal concern was the lack of outside shade from mid afternoon. There are two outside shaded areas but as the sun moves in the day both are fully exposed making it difficult for me ( I burn incredibly easily) to sit outside until sunset. We loved Glyfada beach, gorgeous water, quiet and the taverna was really good with traditional Greek food done really well. It was literally a 2 minute drive away as were two very good supermarkets. We loved our stay, thank you!"
