"We had a great experience at The Inn at La Jolla. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating with local recommendations. They have coffee every morning in the lobby. And the hotel is pretty centrally located. We only use the car once. Pretty much everything was within walking distance. Cute restaurants, and coffee shops. And you could walk to the water where the sea lions hang out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. "

"The Shoal did not disappoint. Immediately, upon entering the room, it smelled clean. It was nicely decorated and efficient. The bathroom was beautiful with nice tiles and a glass shower door. Everything on the grounds is clean and in good condition. We used the pool, hot tub and laundry facilities. Coffee and oatmeal were available for breakfast. There is a short walk to the beach. All the employees were wonderful. "

"Unique cottages of all sizes, lush landscaping and very quiet overall. Nicely appointed with all one needs for a comfy stay. Adorable setting. Complicated online reservation system. Some definite quirks(office closed on Sunday but Welcome book says they are open everyday). No one onsite after 5:00pm. No instructions on how to run the a/c or coffee maker. The ceiling fan only worked when bedroom light was on. No window screens"

"The studio is great for 1-2 people wanting a getaway in La Jolla. Walking distance to the beach and some fun shops and restaurants. Walking distance to tide pools and Scripps if you're a little more adventurous. The unit has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thomas is an excellent host."
