We enjoyed the stay at grand sunset. The food, pools, pool bars, restaurants and activities are the biggest assets.

Upon arrival the luggage handler was rude - the Check In process was extremely long. The front desk staff was not efficient with time - the number of ppl checking in was no more than 2 ppl. The compound is soooo huge and there was only 1 functioning trolley. Our walk from our room to the lobby was 3/4 of a mile for sure - I won't be returning for that main reason. Boutique Hotel next time for us.

Really nice resort but lacking a bit on hospitality when checking in! Overall really nice place but a bit busy and annoying you have to have dinner reservations ahead of time. We missed out on the first two nights of al carte dinners.

Not a great experience. We booked a platinum room, thankfully they upgraded us to a beach view room, it made the stay tolerable. I am not a terribly picky eater, but the overall quality of the food was a huge disappointment. Limited options and nothing was seasoned. Dinner at La Fleur was fantastic, but that was about it. The resort is too big and overcrowded for the number of staff available. At the buffet you may get your water or coffee filled… but don’t expect someone to come back, I know I won’t be back.

I enjoyed the beach and being able to get a chair anytime of the day. I didn’t like that we couldn’t bring left overs back to our room and I didn’t like not being able to book many a la carte restaraunts.

The hotel and pools were nice. However, getting a reservation for anything other than the buffet was basically impossible, and the buffet was very disappointing. When speaking with the staff about getting reservations, they were uninterested and rude.
