Absolutely stunning resort, with amazing staff. Great food, amazing drinks. The spa is excellent, so great I went twice! We were always welcomed by everyone. Elvis, Cristian, Esmeralda, Darlene and Elkin made our vacation that much more memorable. Will definitely be back to make more memories in this beautiful place with all of the beautiful staff members.

Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Paradisus is the ideal mix of luxury and comfort in harmony with excitement and fun. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the staff were accommodating and professional. AND THE FOOD!! they have everything to feed your voracious appetite. If you are going to Playa del Carmen this is where you want to be - Bar None. -

I've stayed at all inclusive properties throughout Mexico probably close to fifteen trips and this has been by far my favorite resort. From the beginning, we were offered to upgrade our room for a reduced rate and decided to jump at that opportunity. This upgrade not only gave us a room that was larger than my husband's first apartment, but it also made us reserve members which allowed us access to a separate pool with upgraded drink options, to two additional restaurants that were phenomenal, and included an excursion to the cenotes in the area. Since we were already planning to do this excursion on this trip, upgrading also made sense. In addition to these benefits, the upgrade came with help from a private concierge who helped us with whatever we needed to make our stay phenomenal. Eduardo was assigned to us as our concierge and he could not have been more helpful and accommodating. He checked in with us morning and night and made excellent recommendations for dinner reservations and things to do and avoid on our trip. I also have to say that this resort wins the award for having the best food out of any of the 15 resorts I've stayed at in the past. The general staff as well were all so nice and welcoming as well. I only have wonderful things to say about this resort overall. Thank you, Paradisus La Perla, for a wonderful and relaxing stay. We will be back!

Overall the property was very well kept. Several dining options with plenty of variety for a week long stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating however wait times for service at certain restaurants were longer than expected. Our concierge, Carlos, was very welcoming and helpful to get us settled our first day on the property. He was eager to check in with us periodically throughout our stay and make sure we had what we needed to have a relaxing vacation. One major downside to our experience at this resort was the push of sales on our first day and throughout the stay. We were approached by multiple staff members to partake in the Melia Rewards program which simply just isn’t a good fit for our travel lifestyle. Generally, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying with Paradisus again!
