Beware! Nice
Posted Sep. 7, 2023 on HomeAwayChecked in on a thur night, got up to shower no hot water in shower! Finally got to talk to someone at 7 pm that night, can’t do anything until Sat. So over 24 hours without a shower! The solution was to open another smaller unrented unit to use that shower. So had to leave the unit every day just to get clean and they request we take towels and wash cloths back and forth with all toiletries and clothing. The manager didn’t even know if the plumber showed up! Paid for a 2 bedroom 1 bath, got a 2 bedroom 1/2 bath.

The issue with the water heater's low temperature has been resolved. The plumber successfully adjusted the temperature, ensuring that everything now operates as intended, with an abundant supply of hot water in the unit. In the interim period before the plumber's visit, we made arrangements for you to have access to a shower situated just ten feet away from your rental unit. It seemed that this solution was suitable for your needs, as we did not receive further communication. While we understand it may not have been an ideal situation, we trust it served the intended purpose. Your feedback is of great value to us, and we are constantly working to enhance our guests' experiences. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future."

For the Nature Lover
Posted Jul. 6, 2023 on HomeAwayBeautiful setting, lots of land surrounding the cottages. Not much close by, so bring groceries and toiletries! There is a grill and picnic tables for a nice cookout, as well as a fire pit to make s’mores! A cute pond if you are interested in fishing (catch and release). Definitely a nice place if you want to spend quality time with the family.!

Great Family Getaway

Posted Feb. 27, 2022 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our 4 days of stay in this beautiful cottage. My kids doesn't wanna leave.Everything is clean and cozy. It was beyond our expectation. From living room , bedroom and bathroom, it is so clean and well maintained.The heat is great, we never felt any coldness from inside despite of the weather which was below 20F on the night of our arrival. Also I like the contactless check in. The location is fantastic. Kids had a great time sledding in front of the cottages. Wifi connection was excellent.connection was so fast. Kim the guest relations answered quick whenever we txted her. Also the property host Evolve always txted us and made sure that we will have a wonderful stay. We will definitely go back to this property. Highly recommended!

Posted Oct. 3, 2021 on HomeAwayQuite, peaceful getaway. Took nature walks, shot hoops on the basketball court. Jogged around the tennis court, used the trampoline. Picnic table on the hill was perfect for sunsets. Property manager and office staff made everything smooth.

Staying at my picky Aunt's property
Posted Jan. 24, 2021 on HomeAwayOk....so just to start,I am not a picky person. First thought the place is exactly like it was presented. But, It was 20 degrees outside and technically by the sticky notes on the walls you're not allowed to adjust the temperature above 61 degrees. There were mouse droppings in the utensil drawer. Also don't let the hot water at the kitchen sink fool you into thinking that you're going to get a hot shower because it's just not going to happen. And last but not least the gas oven caught on fire just trying to preheat it and when I say caught on fire I mean caught on fire black soot everywhere fire alarm blaring soot in our nostrils. We picked this rental because of the full kitchen and location. I would hesitate recommending this property because of the issues we had.

Hi Lori, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we are sorry that you experienced issues here. The homeowner would like to share the following:
- We only ask that guests leave the temperature at 61 degrees upon leaving the cottage. They are free and able to adjust the temperature during their stay, and we did let these guests know that they could do so when they asked. We will make these instructions more clear for future guests and apologize for the miscommunication.
- Each unit has its own hot water heater, and we have confirmed that they are all working.
- The oven had an issue with propane which was fixed.
- Regarding mouse droppings, we inspect every room before check-in for the mice which are in the country. The mice, unfortunately, need to find warmer places to be and must have come in over the evening.
