Worst experience ever

The staff was only interested in explaining again and again all the extra charges that they were going to apply on top of expedia's price. Room was freezing cold, staff was not experienced, cleaning was charged 15 EUR extra per person, etc etc. Worst choice we could make by far. To wrap up the experience: considering all the hidden costs, it was much more expensive than other hotels in the area.

Decent, but I've seen better

Although the room was fairly nice and rustic with an awesome view of the Tuscan hills, the hotel location is inconvenient. You have to do several kilometers of off-roading, which would be fine if you have a truck or SUV, but not necessarily a car. I think I need to have my shocks looked at now!!!

Under the Tuscan Sun

A very enjoyable time in the Chianti area. We had a rental car which is important for a stay here. It is a very wonderful area and La Moraia was a good home base

Un luogo da sogno!

Adatto a chi vuole riposarsi ed ama la natura.Gli appartamenti sono molto caratteristici e dotati di tutto l'occorrente per un breve soggiorno.Il caminetto..un sogno!L'accoglienza è stata decisamente eccellente, staff giovane,simpatico e disponibile!

La casa es tal cual se ve en las fotos,muy bonita,cómoda y funcional, además estaba muy limpia y con los detalles necesarios para nuestra comodidad. El anfitrión nos recibio puntual con mapas e indicaciones y nos aconsejo sitos que visitar y donde comer.La casa está situada en la mejor zona de Toscana y la estancia fue de lo más agradable. Sin lugar a dudas volveriamos a repetir!

Toscana autentica

La Moraia rappresenta il vero agriturismo toscano, quello autentico, rustico dove si lavora la terra ( per ottenere un vino delizioso!) e si accudiscono i cavalli . Abbiamo apprezzato la pace e la tranquillità, qualcuno potrebbe descrivere la sua posizione come isolata, ma secondo me questo è un pregio. In neanche 10 minuti di auto si raggiunge la superstrada che collega Siena a Firenze, sì è però allo stesso tempo lontani dai rumori e immersi nella natura.Sia il giovane proprietario che la ragazza all'accoglienza sono stati molto cortesi e premurosi. La location è perfetta per visitare la perla di San Gimignano ma consente di raggiungere facilmente anche Monteriggioni,Siena, Volterra, Firenze.Una macchina è però fondamentale perchè la zona non è servita dai mezzi pubblici. La villa principale è antica, ben tenuta e suddivisa in più appartamenti.Il nostro (enorme) bilocale al primo piano era confortevole molto pulito e con una cucina spaziosa e ben attrezzata.

Un paradiso

Ottima struttura immersa nel verde delle colline toscane. Appartamenti molto puliti,ben attrezzati, molto spaziosi ed arredati con uno stile semplice e rustico. Piscina ancora aperta dotata di lettini per cogliere questi ultimi raggi di sole. L'accoglienza del ragazzo alla reception è stata fantastica, cortesia e massima disponibilità. Consiglio questa struttura senza riserve

Selvom vi havde booket, var der ikke noget værelse, da vi ankom! Værterne var ikke særlig venlige og efter kort diskussion forsvandt de på ejendommen, og selvom vi prøvede at ringe til dem, blev der ikke svaret. Det endte med at vi måtte køre til den nærmeste by og finde et værelse.

Bel soggiorno!

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole! L'appartamento era molto carino e funzionale; il personale cortese e disponibile. Sul sito però c'è un errore: non abbiamo pagato in loco tutto ciò che c'è scritto sul sito (elettricità, tariffa resort, ecc) ma solo pulizie finali che ammortizzerete con la lunghezza del soggiorno e il gas che va in base al consumo. La posizione è un po' fuori mano ma il posto è così bello che ne vale sicuramente la pena! :-)

La Moraia, Poggibonsi (IT)

Ce n'est pas un hôtel mais une chambre d'hôtes (équivalent italien). Ne pas réserver cet hôtel pour moins de 3 nuits, ce qui n'est pas intéressant financièrement. Ce sont en fait de petits appartements et il n'y pas de restauration ni même de petit déjeuner proposé. Un supplément de 15€ par personne et par nuit est demandé pour le nettoyage, le gaz pour eau chaude et cuisson est aussi en plus... Ce qui change le prix. En revanche, pour qui recherche le calme et la tranquillité sur plusieurs jours, l'environnement est propice: tout proche des vignobles du Chianti et de San Gimignano, en pleine campagne.
