"I love the location of the property and it’s in the center of restaurants. The room was very clean just stunk so bad that it made it a bad experience. It was an old cigarette smell as though smoking used to be permitted in the room. Like a casino smell….The room definitely could use painting in the sleeping area and bathroom. The lobby smelled horrible too. The ratings would be for the location and the view from the room. They said it was a highly desirable room and barely available #708. It looked to us that there were other desirable rooms with better views like the ones in the buildings in front of ours. The front desk thought they needed to mention “leave the wine glasses.” I was insulted they were plastic…I was so disappointed because I had this place on my bucket list for years. It’s definitely time for a remodel. The landscaping is beautiful, so this must be where all the attention goes to. Oh and check in is at 4:00. We tried to check in early and they certainly had clean rooms available. But, we left after the lady at the front desk said she would call us when the room was available. She never called, but we went back two hours later and they gave us the “popular” room. Maybe it’s popular because one can smoke in it. I would stay only for the location, but a bottle of wine and coupons for free continental breakfast at their restaurant was a nice touch that they offered. Of course you’re going to spend more at their restaurant beyond the coupon."
