The breakfast is fresh and enjoyable, the room is in excellent condition, clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. The staff deserve special mention — always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making each day here feel easy and pleasant. So far, everything has been smooth, and we’re happy to continue our stay."

"Hillside Haven should be known as Hillside Heaven because that is what it was for us. My husband and I and our two little dogs enjoyed our three day stay very much. The little house was much more spacious than you could imagine from the pictures. There is lots of privacy - no one can see you in the hot tub from the road. The view is only woods in all directions. It was very easy to relax outside with a wood fire in the outdoor fireplace and so many birds singing in the trees. It is located just a skip down the road from Poley Mtn and a few minutes from charming downtown Sussex. Everything you needed in a rental was provided, including a Keurig coffee maker AND a drip coffee pot with paper filters. The hot tub and the house were in new condition, well maintained, and very clean. We appreciated that the host texted us several times during our stay to make sure all was good. We would definitely book here again. "
