The "Casa Araujo" is an excellent villa, built in 2014, situated on a promontory and over the village and the beach of Ponta do Sol.
The view is superb, particularly in the area of ​​outdoor terraces; a terrace in front of the room with about 40 meters and another larger at a higher level. Simply magnificent!
The interior, spacious and bright, consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry.

La plus belle vue de Ponta do Sol

Nous avons passĂ© 1 semaine dans cette superbe maison. Tout y est vraiment trĂšs fonctionnel ! Plusieurs terrasses qui permettent d'ĂȘtre soit Ă  l'ombre pour se rafraĂźchir, soit au soleil pour profiter de la vue. Les couchers de soleil sont juste magnifiques. L'endroit est trĂšs tranquille et la vue ... woaw ! IdĂ©alement situĂ©e, au sud de l'Ăźle donc bien ensoleillĂ© et Ă  proximitĂ© des principales attractions touristiques. Vielen Dank lieber Nelson. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Der Blick vom Balkon ist zu jeder Tageszeit einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir wurden herzlich mit leckerem Wein und SĂŒĂŸem begrĂŒĂŸt. Das Haus ist ziemlich neu und alles ist in gutem Zustand. Es gibt keine SpĂŒlmaschine, aber das war uns egal. DafĂŒr gibt es deutsches Fernsehen (RTL).Der Ort mit seiner kleinen Strandpromenade ist unser absoluter Lieblingsort gewesen, wir haben fast jedes Restaurant getestet. Alle lecker. Es gibt am Strand auch eine kleine Strandbar, wo man den Sonnenuntergang mit leckerem Cocktail genießen kann. Ein Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Definitiv was fĂŒr Leute, die Ruhe suchen und dem Trubel rundum Funchal entfliehen wollen.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Madeira. We spent about 3 weeks in Ponta do Sol in this wonderful villa - Casa Araujo.We loved the view from the house. The house was clean, check-in and communication with host were excellent. he wifi extenders were replaced when we pointed out that they weren’t working. The location was very quiet. We were in great shape from walking into town and back daily during our 3 week visit. We’ll definitely miss the workout when we return home! Very convenient location for driving around the island. All the restaurants in Ponta do Sol were excellent. We look forward to returning to Madeira, as this was our first visit.

Everything was clean and tidy, and there's a lot of room throughout the house. The view from the balcony's-there's two-is truly amazing!Nelson was without a doubt, one of the nicest people that you will ever meet! He went way above and beyond to help us during our stay!

Spectacular Views

Place had an amazing view of the town and the host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed the deck and the view of the ocean. My first impression of getting to VBRO was a little bit tense but by the second day I felt comfortable with climb and the narrow road to the VRBO. Our biggest issue was with the WI-FI.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this picturesque home with its breathtaking views. Nelson warmly welcomed us and provided us with a list of recommendations and some wonderful treats! Hiking paradise

We loved our week in Madeira island. Ponto do sol was the oerfect appt to access every trail with no more than 45 min driving. Levada nova was our favorite hike and within 3k of rental. Rental was fabulous with million dollar views. The washer was so handy for muddy clothes after hiking. Check in/ out was easy. Parking was available next door. We would come again for sure! We used the recommended car hire from house manager. One thing about driving - you need a small car for the narrow roads but you need some power for the hills and sharp turns. This was one of the best holidays of our life. Thank you!

Traumhaus mit Blick auf Ponta do Sol

Ein toller Wanderurlaub auf Madeira. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. 3 BĂ€der = Luxus. Es bietet Platz fĂŒr 6 Erwachsene. Die Aussicht von den 2 Terrassen ist grandios! Wir haben jeden Tag draußen gefrĂŒhstĂŒckt. Besonders hervorzuheben auch der offene Kamin zum Grillen. Der Empfang und die Betreuung durch Nelson - einfach super. Er ist 24/7 verfĂŒgbar. Vom Haus in den Ort dauert es zu Fuß 10 Minuten; zurĂŒck wegen der betrĂ€chtlichen Steigung 20 Minuten. Im Ort gibt es eine kleine Auswahl an Restaurants. Direkt an der Tankstelle befindet sich ein gut ausgestatteter Supermarkt. Einige Wanderungen kann man direkt vom Haus aus starten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Levada Nova. Wir hatten ein Mietwagen, waren dadurch sehr mobil und haben Wanderungen auf der ganzen Insel unternommen. Prinzipiell sollte man den Tag zum Wandern frĂŒh starten, sonst wird es bei einigen Wanderungen doch sehr voll. FĂ€hrt man mit dem Auto nach Funchal, gibt es direkt neben der Seilbahn ein Parkhaus. Wir waren 2 Wochen auf Madeira und werden mit Sicherheit noch mal wiederkommen! Vielen Dank Nelson.
